The Health Information Systems Programme (HISP), which aims to support the improvement of health care systems in the southern hemisphere by increasing the capacity of health care workers to make decisions based on accurate information. HISP provides training and support for users of the open source District Health Information System (DHIS) software, which is under continuous development.

The project started in post-apartheid South Africa, and has been introduced in a number of countries in Africa and Asia.

HISP is also the acronym for the Holistic Information Security Practitioner certification course, which is the only integration course that provides practical education on the integration of best practices for Information Security Management, Information Systems Auditing and multiple Regulatory Compliance requirements and how to map multiple regulatory requirements to the internationally accepted best practices framework of ISO 27002. The class covers ISO/IEC 27002:2005, COBIT, COSO and ITIL then explains a methodology to map regulations such as HIPAA Security, FFIEC, GLB Act, FIPS 200 Sarbanes-Oxley Act (Security), FACT Act, PCI Data Security, California SB-1386, OSFI, PIPEDA, PIPA, Canadian Bill C-168 to the ISO 27002 framework.

The HISP Certification Course was originally authored by eFortresses, Inc. an Atlanta, Georgia based risk management company, specializing in Information Security and Regulatory Compliance. The training aspect of the HISP Certification Course is delivered by eFortresses and a number of authorized training partners including BSI Management Systems, however the certification aspect is handled by the HISP Institute, an independent non-profit organization.

Magic guns, also called spellguns or casters (presumably short for "spellcaster"), are an element of science fantasy (fantasy/science fiction) that combines firearms and magic (or some other supernatural power) to create a weapon with properties of both. In many fantasy settings, magic and technology are seen as distinct, separate entities, if not unmixable/incompatible, while spellguns serve as an unusual melange of both. Magic guns are popular in many anime, manga, and game series.
