Julio Prado Amor (26 August 1870 – 4 August 1951) was a Chilean lawyer, professor and politician who served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies of Chile and as Minister of Justice and Public Instruction under President Juan Luis Sanfuentes.
Outside politics, Prado was active in educational, social and civic organizations. He became known as a public lecturer, particularly on education, social development and progress. Among other positions, he served as director of the Patronato Nacional de la Infancia, administrator of La Gota de Leche and Hipódromo Chile, and director of the Unión Comercial and the Sociedad Nacional de Profesores.
Prado received several foreign distinctions. He was made a commander of the Order of Isabella the Catholic in 1918 and later received honors associated with the Order of Charles III, the Portuguese Military Order of Christ, and Spanish academic institutions. In 1927, he was appointed a commander of the Order of the Crown of Italy.
He was also a member of the Club de la Unión, the Sociedad de Fomento and the Sociedad Nacional de Agricultura.
Alfredo Portales Mourgues (23 November 1883 – 10 October 1953) was a Chilean Army general who served as Commander-in-Chief of the Chilean Army from November 1944 to November 1945.
Fernando Porta Angulo was a Chilean naval officer who served as Commander-in-chief of the Chilean Navy from 1968 to 1970.
Arístides Pinto Concha (7 February 1859 – 5 June 1924) was a Chilean Army general, lawyer and politician who served as Inspector General of the Army from 1921 to 1922 and as Minister of War and Navy under President Ramón Barros Luco.
During his military career, Pinto participated in the War of the Pacific and the 1891 Chilean Civil War. He also held senior positions in the Chilean Army and was involved in the early development of military aviation in Chile.
