John Pierce is an American country music singer and songwriter.

He was born in Bozeman, Montana, and raised in Billings, Montana. After graduating from Billings Central Catholic High School in 1993, he attended University of Montana to study classical music, but later dropped out because he did not feel comfortable with the genre. He then played acoustic shows at a number of venues across Montana. While selling flooring at his family's store in Bozeman, he encountered songwriter Kostas, who recommended him to multiple record executives in Nashville, Tennessee. By April 2005, he was signed with Sony Music Nashville's RCA branch.

His debut single, "I'd Still Have You," peaked at No. 59 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart in February 2006. Pierce recorded an album for RCA with producer Byron Gallimore that was originally scheduled to be released in 2006.

Pierce wrote Zac Brown Band's number one single "Sweet Annie". In 2020, he signed a publishing contract with Universal Music Publishing Nashville.
