The Tengu clan are a fictional clan of ninjas in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon's Konquest mode.
History
The clan lived in the frozen lands of Arctika where they would viciously attack and kill any intruders that passed their territory. They were a rival clan of the Lin Kuei; however, they were the weaker of the two and thus feared the frost ninjas. Taven passed through Tengu-held territory and defeated their leader, who submitted and allowed the ancient Edenian to pass. Certain members of this clan did, on occasion, go rogue and become frost ninjas, who were a threat to anyone who passed the icy lands alone.
No members of the Tengu are mentioned, but the only known member of the clan is Wu Lae, who's their leader, he's a strong ninja and wears a black garment, wielding a scythe, he was ultimately defeated by Taven.
In Armageddon's Konquest mode, after defeating Wu Lae you have the option to perform a fatality on him. Doing so would unlock Kitana's Alternate Costume.

Simply Syndicated is a company which produces a selection of podcasts and began podcasting in the summer of August 2005. Simply Syndicated is a featured provider in the UK iTunes Store podcast section . In addition to providing Podcasts, the Simply Synicated website features forums and blogs for most of it's shows.
Simply Syndicated's podcasting output is noted for it's highly informal structure and atmosphere.
History
During March of 2005, Richard Smith and Tristan Ofield of Anonymous Room Productions began experimenting with podcasting as a means of promoting various feature length and short films, by releasing a series of features covering their new film releases. It became clear that podcasting was a new media which was capable of so much more.
A weekly audio show called Movies You Should See was launched in August 2005. The popularity of Movies You Should See led to find a new web host, which in turn allowed Simth to create With a new hosting account came a free domain name, which provided the opportunity to create a whole new web site dedicated to creating and providing various types of podcasts, as well as showcasing new work from Anonymous Room Productions. Smith set about creating simplysyndicated.com.
The site began with one show, and over time has expanded its line up to include five shows an audio channel and a video channel, with all of the shows hosted by various hosts of Movies You Should See, along with other people who have previously worked with Anonymous Room Productions.
Movies You Should See
The Movies You Should See (MYSS) podcast is released once a week, currently on Saturdays, with each episode lasting around an hour. Each week the five presenters, Richard Smith, Tristan Ofield, Allison Downing, Mike Dawson and Craig Bevan, review a film that they think is a 'Movie You Should See'. Their choices are diverse, ranging from Amelie to Amores Perros, from Ghostbusters to The Goonies. Unlike many other podcasts, MYSS is highly unstructured and all five presenters regularly disagree with each other. They often roam onto topics that are totally unrelated to the film supposedly being reviewed, as well as discussing other works of people who worked on the film, and other dubiously linked topics. This often results in random anecdotes and fits of laughter all round. However, to fans of the show, this is half the fun and contributes greatly to its popularity and growing cult following.
The show was originally recorded in Leeds, and did not feature Allison Downing. Allison is the partner of Richard Smith and became part of the regular cast of the show after she and Richard began living together and recording of the show moved to Haworth, West Yorkshire.
MYSS is also notable for its large volume of in-jokes, something which may confuse the new listener. These include repeated references to the actor Clancy Brown (often shouted loudly) and to 'Nightarrows', a particularly ridiculous element of the film TimeLine. A Movies You Should See T-Shirt festured the line "Prepare the Nightarrows'
All the episodes before and including the 1st Birthday special are no longer on the feed but are available to buy from the Simply Syndicated store, as either individual episode download or as part of the 'Movies You Should See Year One' DVDs collection.
The show was featured in a Radio Times review of podcasts.

St. Canard is a fictional city which appears in Disney's animated television series Darkwing Duck. St. Canard is the home of Darkwing Duck, Gosalyn Mallard and most of their supporting cast. It is in or adjacent to the fictional state of Calisota, the setting of other Disney cartoon cities.
A city of skyscrapers, St. Canard is located on the edge of Audubon Bay. Audubon Bay is named after the ornithologist John James Audubon. The Audubon Bay Bridge connects St. Canard to Duckburg, the residence of most of the Ducktales gang. Darkwing Duck's secret headquarters sit on the top of the Audubon Bay Bridge.
Various members of Darkwing's gallery of rogues have tried to conquer St. Canard. The Fearsome Five came very close, ruling it for about one to three days. However, St. Canard was eventually overcome, not by the villains, but by Darkwing himself; in an alternate future, Darkwing Duck becomes DarkWarrior Duck, a crazed, and deadly version of his original identity. Prompted by the disappearance of his daughter Gosalyn, DarkWarrior rules the city with an iron fist. This alternate future was apparently destroyed altogether when Gosalyn and her unintending 'kidnappers', Quackerjack and Megavolt, returned to the present day of the series.
The city's name comes from the French word canard which means "duck".
St. Canard bears a passing resemblace to Batman's Gotham City, and can be considered a light-hearted spoof.
