The Oliver Wyman Group is a part of Marsh and McLennan consisting of Lippincott, NERA Economic Consulting and Oliver Wyman, a management consulting firm headquartered in New York City, that specializes in strategy, operations, risk management, organizational transformation, and leadership development.

History
The Oliver Wyman Group was created on May 9th, 2007 when the consulting firms Mercer Oliver Wyman, Mercer Management Consulting and Mercer Delta Consulting, joined together to become one unified consulting firm under the name Oliver Wyman. The companies of the Oliver Wyman Group trace back over 35 years when in 1970 Temple, Barker and Sloane, Inc was founded in Boston. Temple Barker and Sloane were acquired by Marsh & McLennan Companies in 1990, a diversified professional services firm. In 1992, Strategic Planning Associates and Temple, Barker and Sloane are merged into the Mercer name as Mercer Management Consulting. Soon after, Mercer went on an expansion spree, rapidly expanding into Germany, the UK, France and many other countries. This was done mainly through acquisitions as Marsh & McLennan provided a vast source of funds.

In 2000, Delta Consulting Group was acquired by Marsh and McLennan and added to the Mercer Specialty Consulting Group as Mercer Delta.

In 2003, Oliver Wyman & Co, originally formed in 1984 in New York was acquired by Marsh & McLennan and renamed as Mercer Oliver Wyman as part of the Mercer Specialty Consulting Group.

In 2007, Mercer Oliver Wyman, Mercer Management Consulting and Mercer Delta are re-branded as one company known as Oliver Wyman.

Advent Film Group (AFG) is a film production and distribution company founded in 2007 by George Escobar. Christian News wire explains, "Advent is gaining a reputation for producing movies that protects a student's Christian walk, promotes a Biblical worldview, and provides a professional path for students." Being a new company, AFG is currently reviewing offers of distribution, investments, and is presenting AFG's unique film perspective to businesses and groups, most recently to Christians at AOL's headquarters in VA. In the next three years, AFG plans to produce five films touching on themes with a biblical worldview important to family audiences. Participants will eventually direct future films on the AFG production slate.

Mission
Advent Film Group's mission is to "train a new generation of highly qualified filmmakers who are soundly Christian. This is not a film school or a film workshop. AFG is about making professional movies that will influence the hearts and minds of our audience concerning the tough moral and social issues of our day."

THE ORIGIN-

(Authors note: This article is intended for informational purposes about the characters, story and projects around the history of, the current projects of, and the characters in "Buck Moon" past, presnt, and future.)

"Buck Moon", from a horror comedy story of the same name, is a character created by actor/comedian/director Jack Matych. The story is of a bounty hunter (Buck) and his clumsy sidekick Oswald.

"It started as a short story," says Matych, "Just this stupid little thing about a guy who wears sunglasses and shoots everything up. And I decided to write a short film script from titled 'The adventures of Buck Moon, Monster Hunter'."

After taking this short film script to his good friend and musician Luke Sayers of the band, The Dead Alives, whose opinion on horror films he appreciates, he didn't like it. So Jack re-wrote the script. This process continued a few times until he had finally set the script on a shelf.
A few months later, Sayers asked to see the script again and after reading it, had made a single suggestion which had motivated Matych to write the first draft of the feature length script.

THE MOVIE-

After enlisting the help of Grand Rapids writer, Justin Dickinson to help write the screenplay, Matych attemtped to find a way to make this feature length film. In 2005 from the sales of t-shirt he was able to make a short film based off of it called, "Buck Moon: Got your back".

GOT YOUR BACK-

"Got your back" takes place after the events in the feature length story and finds Buck and Oswald tracking down a werewolf-type creature. The opening line, "It wasn't even a full moon..." obviously leads us to understand that this creature is obviously not a werewolf.

Jack Matych plays Buck Moon, the gruff, chain smoking antihero-hero along with Jason Eller (of the band AFTERNINE) as Oswald, his jittery, clumsy sidekick.

The double part of the doctor and the creature was played by John Long (stage name), a good friend of Matych and fellow performer from many stage shows in the past.

UNLEASHING TO THE PUBLIC-

"Got your back" was offered as a home burned DVD for sale. Few copies were sold. After many requests to offer the short film online so people could watch it instead, Matych recorded a commentary with his cousin and production manager, Kacy Thatcher for the short film and released that in May 2007 in two parts online...

...Few got the joke.

-BUCK MOON: THE COMIC BOOK

In August of 2007, Matych was approached by Jeff Barnes and Royce VanLoon of Dark Matter Comics to make a comic book version of Buck Moon which they intend as their launch title.

A preview issue (Issue #0) is planned for a December 2007 release. The story will be a precursor to what would have been the feature length "Buck Moon", followed by the next five issues which will be the full story that has been in the works since 2001.

THE FUTURE OF BUCK MOON-

Matych and Co. are planning a number of projects in the future including a new short film, and ultimately getting the feature length film made...someday.

Buck Moon and all characters are copyright 2004-2007 by Jack Matych.
