Michael Tang (born November 23 1995) is an American bowler in San Francisco, California.
On March 11 2006, Tang became the youngest person to bowl a perfect game at an event sanctioned by the United States Bowling Congress, a distinction he would hold for about nine months. He has an older brother named Darren Tang that goes to Balboa High School. On the day he set the record, he was 10 years, three months, and 16 days old.
Tang's perfect game came during play at Sea Bowl in the Daly City All Star Scratch Trios League in Pacifica, California. In two prior games that day, he had earned scores of 163 and 193, and his previous career high was a 234, scored in 2005. Tang began bowling at the age of six; he does not foresee a career in the sport, hoping instead to become a professional golfer.
