Max and Nadia Shepard Recital Hall resides in College Hall a building on the campus of the State University of New York at New Paltz. College Hall is the oldest residence hall on the campus of the State University of New York at New Paltz built in 1951, it is a land mark, and is the closest hall to the village of New Paltz.
The facility contains 125-seats and is named in honor of patrons to the performing arts programs at SUNY New Paltz. The hall offers a delicate setting student recitals and chamber music performances.
The rear of the hall contains a small studio equipped with Pro-tools HD and a Control 24 sound board used for recording professional venues.

Patty Crash, (born Katrin Newman, May 18, 1986, Keflavik, Iceland. Crash moved to america in the early 90's after her dad who was singer sonwriter took his own life. She spent winters in America and summers in Iceland.She started writing rhymes and hooks had other people sing cause she believed she wasnt a good enough singer.She eventually moved to America at the age of 17 to pursue a career in the music industry. After a failed attempt to attend a The Roots show in Baltimore, Crash was introduced to the group through a friend of hers. While ciphering with Tariq Trotter(Black Thought),Dice Raw,and Truck North on the tour bus she gave them her demo. Black Thought flew Crash out to Philadelphia where she met Nikki Jean who had joined a group Nouveau Riche with Dice Raw after leaving St. Paul Minnesota. Crash later gained a feature on Tyga's album No Introduction in the song "Diamond Life".Then later appearing on Gym Class Heroes' album The Quilt on the song "Drnk Txt Rmeo".That same year The Roots and Gym Class Heroes did a tour together allowing Crash to open up for them in New York and Philadelphia and the show Sold out.

The Dorkie is a small house dog that is a hybrid mixture of a Dachshund and a Yorkshire Terrier. In the dog breeding world, a hybrid is considered to be a designer dog. Designer dogs are not purebred but simply a mixture that a particular breeder finds appealing. The characteristics of a designer dogs are not set in stone, as an offspring will have a mixture of its parent’s genes.
When a breeder is breeding a Dorkie, they will select pure-breed dogs as the parents.
