Dr. Josh Alman has a Ph. D in Agricultural Biology and is currently famous for his most recent work on drunken trees
. He currently works at U of T where he teaches a course in botany.

He has recently made several important discoveries concerning drunken trees after doing extensive research on their growth patterns and the effects on their offspring. Recently, he has been conducting studies slightly North of Lake Caniapiscau, in the province of Quebec, on trees suffering from permafrost melting in the area. In his observations, he discovered that some drunken trees can recover from their condition by gravitropism, which has opened the path for many new ways to save tres already suffering from permafrost melting. He is continuing to return to the area being studied bi-annually to further discover how these suffering trees can be saved.

Dr. Josh Alman was born in 1951 in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada and he attended the University of Toronto, where he obtained his undergraduate degree, and then he proceeded to go to University of British Columbia and University of Waterloo for his other degrees. Once he got his Ph. D, he then returned to Toronto where he now teaches.
