Silent Death: Online, often abbreviated to SDO or SD, was a top-view spaceship fighter game created by Mythic Entertainment who originally licensed the rights from Iron Crown Enterprises, before purchasing them upon its bankruptcy.
History
The game was born on the GameStorm gaming system in 1997, before Mythic announced its transferral to AOL's gaming service in December 1999, where it lived until March 2001. At this point, AOL's gaming service was transferred to EA's newly created platinum gaming service. The game endured a turbulent time here plagued by crackers exploiting bugs in the game, but nonetheless maintained a devoted following.
Closure
The game was discontinued on December 7, 2001, following EA's sunset announcement and the withdrawal of their platinum online gaming service.

Oblique Lateral Lumbar Interbody Fusion (OLLIF) is a minimally-invasive procedure to achieve spinal fusion of the lumbar vertebrae. Unlike other spinal fusions it can often be performed as an outpatient surgery.
Medical uses
OLLIF is done in the lumbar region of the spine to treat a variety of back conditions. Most commonly it is used to treat degenerative disc disease and spinal disc herniation but it can be used to treat a large range of degenerative spinal conditions. OLLIF is currently only used for fusions between the L1-5 and S1 vertebrae. Like many other spinal fusions, OLLIF is usually augmented by posterior pedicle screw fixation, which can also be done minimally invasively.
Economics
Standard conversion factors were used and values reported based on the levels (1-4) addressed at surgery. One level surgery time (OLLIF 62.9 vs. TLIF 134.9 minutes) and surgical expense (OLLIF $5,253 vs. TLIF $11,264) were reduced in the OLLIF population. Inpatient costs (OLLIF $5,712 vs. TLIF $9,271) and length of stay (LOS) were also reduced (OLLIF 2.6 vs. TLIF 4.2 days). Per case, reduced resource consumption suggests lower total hospital costs. Reduced surgical time and LOS can result in greater patient throughput per operating room and patient bed for OLLIF patients in hospitals that have resourced constrained environments.)

Fred DeLorey is a Canadian politician and political staffer currently seeking the nomination for the Conservative Party of Canada in Central Nova Scotia.
Political career
In August 2013, DeLorey became the Conservative Party of Canada's Director of Political Operations, taking over when Jenni Byrne left for the Prime Minister's Office. Prior to this DeLorey was the Director of Communications and Deputy Director of Political Operations.
DeLorey previously served in an advisory capacity on Atlantic Canada issues to Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and as National Youth Organizer for the Conservative Party.
DeLorey was one of the key players on Prime Minister Harper's majority-winning election team, where he served as the national campaign spokesperson and managed candidate support and debate
preparations.
In 2011 he was a member of the International Republican Institute’s delegation to Egypt that witnessed their historic parliamentary elections.
He was named the best political spinner in Ottawa in the 2012 Hill Times Terrific 25 survey, earning most votes in the category of “Best Adept at Spin.” He was also named one of the Terrific 25 political staffers that same year.
Personal life
DeLorey was born in Nova Scotia. He is married to Marilissa Gosselin, an accountant and former Ontario Progressive Conservative candidate. They have two sons and one daughter. In an odd coincidence, all three of their children were born during elections.

Comunio is a browser-based massively multiplayer online football management game developed in Germany and started in 2000. The users can make virtual leagues, whose scores are based on the actual results of various competitions. The idea originated in Germany in the 2000/2001 season, initially based on the German Football League. Currently it offers different game versions based on different national and international championships in football and other sports such as Formula 1 or winter sports. Its creators estimated the number of users at 800,000 players.
The game is free to play, though there is an optional premium user (Plus Player or Pro Player) service that provides additional features. As with any manager game, the player must assign positions to the players and choose among some basic tactical and strategic options.
Gameplay
The basic idea of Comunio is to manage a football team wisely, whether it be in buying and selling players, setting the team's lineup. Every user in Comunio has a team of his/her own. The user has wide control over their team, and gameplay is mainly limited by economic and tactical restrictions.
