Life
1996-2009: Early Life
Justin Eli Stone was born on May 3, 1996, in Ostrander, Ohio to his mother, Johnnie. Justin grew up with his father, mother and two siblings in Columbus, Ohio. His sister Jennifer, brother Jason, father Jeff, and mother Johnnie all played a major part in the up-and-coming artists life. His father, Jeff, was a pastor which prompted his family to move in 2009 when Justin was about 13 to move to St. Leon, Indiana as his father was moved to a new church.
2009-2014: Middle & High School
Justin attended high school in St. Leon, Indiana at East Central High School and played football and track. After graduating high school, his mother tried to convince Justin to attend college and get a degree to further go on into his life, however, Justin had other plans. Coming out of high school, Justin had already begun pursuing his dream of music and planned to move back to Ohio to continue to chase his dream. Although his mother was initially disappointed, this move improved his platform to get him where he is today.
2014-Present: Career
Justin's career seriously took off post moving back to Columbus. Since his return, he has released all of his music that people know today and toured with artists such as Hi-Rez and Emilio Rojas. Recently, in 2017, Justin had held a sold out show in Columbus, Ohio, showing the artists growth from touring with the two. Justin has released three hit mixtapes, all three of which hit the top 50 of the iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap Albums, including Don't Hassle Me I'm Local, Beauty in the Struggle, and Long Time Coming. Inspiration
Despite being a hip-hop/rap artist, Justin Stone's inspiration branches far from the traditional rap inspirations and influences. Growing up, Justin listened to bands such as Yellow Card, All American Rejects, and Angels and Airwaves but never listened to the traditional rap legends, meaning that Justin is burning a path on his own. Justin has high tones of hip-hop and rap in his music, occasionally in some pop for choruses and such. As a whole, Justin never believed in smoking or drinking in order to get his creativity, but rather speaks of his own personal life experiences through his music. He doesn't believe in writing about things that have never happened and only speaks from the heart when he gets on a track, leaving his life to be his biggest inspiration through his music.
Associated Acts
Justin has performed with a number of artists and hopes to continue expanding his numbers through it, a small list of people that Justin has collaborated with is:
* J Zac
* Hi-Rez
* Packy
