Participatory memetic violence (PMVE or PMV) is a term coined by scholars to refer to a form of violence "enacted as a symbolic statement of affiliation with or participation in groups that valorize violent or transgressive action, either as an end in itself or for its perceived social and cultural significance, in lieu of any clear strategic, political, or ideological goal." Participatory memetic violence turns violence into internet content and celebrates it. This creates a phenomenon where people copy past attackers to gain infamy and motivate more attackers, leading to more violence.
In the 2020s, the term was coined by Joe Ondrak and Laura Vitellito. Various online communities actively promote participatory memetic violence by motivating people to commit violent acts so the perpetrator can achieve infamy. Various crimes, such as shootings and bombings have been linked to participatory memetic violence.
Hawk(e): The Movie is an independent comedy film co-directed by Phil Baker and Tom Turner and written by Phil Baker. The film was produced by Genepool Records with Paramore Productions and was set for a summer 2013 release. The film is to be distributed by Genepool in the UK and Continuum Motion Pictures in North America.

In Summer, 2008 Planet X launched a cable TV channel that features youth action sports and music topics as well as its new national TV series and a sister channel in Spanish language in Mexico and South America (that is still active today).
