The forming of the band
It all started with Natalia Tena and Sam Apley meeting in another band. They clicked and decided to make their own kind of music. Whilst being totally sleep deprived and festival fuelled after a week of dancing and having it at The Secret Garden Party, as Nat describes it, they were busking to the last people standing. Someone from the Chai Wallah crue asked them what they were called so Sam baptized the band ‘Molotov Jukebox’. Afterwards they started finding the rest of its members and thus the band was born!
The Molotov cocktail is the symbol of revolution
The jukebox stands for the fact that they strive to be like one, full of different genres.
Members
* Natalia Tena - Vocals, Accordion
* Sam Apley - Vocals, Violin
* Adam Burke - Guitar
* Tom Wilson - Bass
* Max Burnett-Wain - Drums
* Angus Moncrieff - Trumpet
Musical style
Because they didn’t want to stick to just one genre they decided to blend all the genres and styles they like. It started out with gypsy and dubstep. In the meanwhile calypso, funk, ska, flamenco, samba, house, electro, pop, reggae and soul have joined the party.
Given that it’s a mouthful they decided to give their personal style a name of its own. Considering all of their songs have a ground of traditional gypsy sound and a ‘dirty beat’ on them the name Gypstep came into the world.
Timeline
2010
After playing at a bunch of London festivals in 2010 such as Glastonbury and Green Man their first single “Laid to Rest” was released on the 15th of November. In December that year they went on an unplanned tour in Brazil, playing lots of last-minute gigs for a month.
2011
2011 was a very productive year for them considering they spent a lot of time working on their first EP. On the 20th of June it was released under the name “Double Dare”.
That summer they played at a lot of festivals such as The Secret Garden Party, Shoreditch Festival, Thames Festival and Glastonbury.
This definitely got them noticed and they were asked to perform at Beirut’s Official Afterparty and to support the Kooks in Milan and Berlin.
All of this has lead them to being nominated for ‘The Best Breakthrough Artist at the UK Festival Awards’ alongside Jessie J, XX an Ed Sheeran.
Their first single 'Get Ready' was released on the 14th of November.
2012
On the 21ste of May their second EP 'Bang' was released. And their summer is very well filled with a lot of festivals.

Response
Although the remark wasn't initially seen as significant, it soon gained traction, and it became a hash-tag on Twitter. Additionally, the statement "You didn't build that" has become a meme with multiple images using it on the internet.

In an opinion piece written in the Wall Street Journal on the 17th of July the author stated that the speech is a "burst of ideological candor", and that the statement meant that "the self-made man is an illusion". In another piece written in the Wall Street Journal by James Taranto he wrote that "The president's remark was a direct attack on the principle of individual responsibility, the foundation of American freedom." Later Kimberley Strassel, wrote that the portion of the speech which spoke about the Obama's views on the relationship between business and government were similar to statements made by Massachusetts Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren, and that the effect of the speech was to "suck away the president's momentum."
In the Washington Post, Jennifer Rubin wrote that the statement showed that Obama "revealed a level of resentment toward the private sector that was startling, even to his critics.", and that the speech reflects that "the anti-business assaults become the campaign. Meanwhile, his affection for government become a chip on his shoulder, prompting him to dare those private-sector wise guys to deny the centrality of government in their success." Later, Glenn Kessler said that the Obama statement was taken out of context and that he was speaking about infrastructure.
In The Atlantic, Andrew Cline wrote that what Obama said was an " enormous controversy -- a philosophical rewriting of the American story.", and that "With his Roanoke speech, Obama turned Jefferson on his head. In Obama's formulation, government is not a tool for the people's use, but the very foundation upon which all of American prosperity is built. Government is not dependent upon the people; the people are dependent upon the government." This he writes is fundamentally non-Jeffersonian Josh Barro, in Bloomberg, wrote that Obama's speech was needlessly insulting, and that the statement resonates badly with people of all income levels; later he quoted Sam Seaborn in the television show The West Wing in regards to progressive taxation.
In researching the 2002 Winter Olympics, NBC News' Domenico Montanaro found that Romney made a similar statement during his speech during those game's opening ceremony, where he said:
Eugene Kiely wrote on FactCheck.org that the use of the statement by the Romney campaign was taken out of context as in the speech Obama was speeking about how government-funded education, infrastructure, and research assisted businesses in what he called the "unbelievable american system" and that he summarizes it by saying "that when we succeed, we succeed because of our individual initiative, but also because we do things together." This view was also shared by Politifact, saying that the Romney campaign "cherry-picked a quote that made it sound like Obama was dismissive of businesses when in fact he was making a point that success comes from the combination of "individual initiative" and the fact that "we do things together."", and that by doing so "Romney and his supporters have misled viewers and given a false impression."
In the New York Magazine, Jonathan Chait wrote that Romney use of the words from the Roanoke speech as a "plan of blatantly lying" about it, and the reason why it works is because of a "broader subtext" of the speech due to Obama not using his normal voice, but speaking with a "black dialect". In the Huffington Post, Michael Smerconish wrote that the Romney campaign did take the words out of context, and that the message of the importance of social contracts were better worded by Elizabeth Warren. On the same website Nelson Davis, President of Nelson Davis Productions, rebuked the conservatives' take on what Obama had said in Roanoke, saying that the reason why the United States has become great is due to business and government working together.
On The Daily Show, John Stewart said that the Romney campaign was centering his campaign on words taken out of context, and followed this by saying conservative commentators perpetuated the use of the quote.

<big>Introduction of Anion</big>
Definition
The anion refers to a negatively charged oxygen ion, which is colorless, odorless. In an open space, after anion generator connection power source, free electron is being apart from its carbon brush, and then they are captured by oxygen in the air and changed into anion. Because of this, we also call the anion as negative oxygen ion.
The forming principle
When the light is working, the cutting-edge carbon brush in the light releases a large number of high-speed electronic (e-). We know that the electron can not exist in the air for long time (electron’s existence life is only in the nS level). They will immediately be caught by the oxygen member (O2) in the air, form into anion. It works with the same principle as natural phenomenon “thunder flash” when the anion is forming.
The main function of anion
(1) Improve the air structure
One people need about 13 billion pieces of anion, but there are only 0.2 to 2 billion pieces of anion in our office, bedroom, living room, etc. We may feel uncomfortable when staying in a closed room for a long time. The anion can release the uncomfortable feeling that we called “Air conditioning sickness”.
(2) Improve the lung function
Breathing the anion for 30 minutes, the lung energy can increase the oxygen amount by 20% and increase the exhaust of carbon dioxide by extra 15%.
(3) Promote the metabolism
The anion can active many enzyme of the body slightly, promote metabolism.
(4) Increase the body’s anti-disease ability
The anion can improve the reactivity of the body so that it can increase the anti-disease ability of the body.
(5) Improve the quality of sleeping
Energize the body, increase the working efficiency, and improve the quality of sleeping.
(6) The function of sterilization
The anion will produce the ozone while it produces the massive anion. It’s much easily to adsorb all kinds of virus and the bacterium after combining these two, changes the structure of it or energy transfer, resulting in its death.
(7) The function of fresh the air
Clean the dust and smog in the air. It caused the electrode neutral when the negative charged anion meet with the belt positive charge smog dust that floating in the air. So it results in the natural deposition of the smog and dust. Why the air is so fresh after the thunder storm, part of the reason is the anion. It is efficient to protect your family from second-hand smoke.
(8) The function of protection
The negative ion will build a protective wall between the people and TV, computer and so on. It decreases the injury to eyes by relaxing the high-pressure static electricity erupted by home appliance. The anion has great effect of protecting Myopia.
The main application
As more and more people applying for a high-level life and a lot of material confirmed that anion is good for people’s health, the anion has been used more and more widely. Such as LED light, electric fan, Air Purifier, Air conditioners, Air conditioning fan, table lamp, Night lamp, Humidifier, hair dryer and comb, etc.
Methods to feel the advantages of anion directly
Method 1
Take a covered transparent container which filled with smoke, and then placed the anion generator which is working in it. After 3 to 8 seconds, you will find smoke in the container disappeared.
Method 2
The anion generator is placed in a smelly environment, after a period of time, you will find that odor was eliminated.
