Amanda Bowman (born 1959 in Boscombe, Dorset) is a British disc jockey who currently works as a presenter at BBC Radio Nottingham where her late-night phone-in show is syndicated to BBC stations around the Midlands. Bowman has previously worked for 96 Trent FM, as a breakfast presenter on the national Classic Gold station, Saga 106.6 FM and its successor 106.6 Smooth Radio.
Career
Her broadcasting career began in 1986 after she answered a job advertisement for Radio Trent who wanted someone to publicise community groups. Initially she worked as one of the station's Careline presenters, but went on to host a show at Trent in her own right, before later taking a career break in order to bring up her children. Returning to the airwaves in the 1990s, she presented shows on Trent's mediumwave service, GEM-AM, then the Classic Gold network after GEM became one of many AM services to be taken over by the network. At Classic Gold, she hosted the breakfast show and was later a lunchtime presenter, before leaving to join Saga 106.6 FM.
She began presenting at Saga in February 2005, hosting the station's Across Midday show from 10am to 1pm. She worked on the show until the station was rebranded as Smooth Radio in March 2007, where she then hosted Smooth's evening show. However, in March 2008, she left Smooth and Steve Merike took over Smooth Evenings.
Amanda Bowman joined BBC Radio Nottingham in 2009 and presented a Sunday afternoon programme. From 2010 she could be heard broadcasting late nights on BBC Radio in the Midlands from 9pm to 12am. Since January 2011 the show, which runs from from Sunday to Thursday, has been aired between 10pm and 1am. Her show is syndicated to BBC stations throughout the Midlands, except BBC WM. She can also be heard covering other programmes for holidaying presenters.
Alongside her career in radio, Bowman has worked in a number of other jobs. These include a hostel for homeless people, as the manager of a Citizen's Advice Bureau, a nanny and magazine editor.<ref name=BBCBowman/>

Hellon Wheels also known as Helen Kennedy (born Helen Meacham on 29 October, 1973) is currently the co-host of the Breakfast show on Worcester based radio station Wyvern along with former Quay Radio presenter Rich 'Hursty' Hurst. Her on-air name originated from her time as Traffic and Travel girl at Birmingham's 100.7 Heart FM.
Her career with Heart began in 1996, after graduating with a degree from Cardiff University, where she had studied journalism. She originally applied for a job as a tea girl at the station, but after her stint as a travel presenter on Cox and Bumphrey breakfast show, she went on to become a full time presenter.
Prior to June 2006, Hellon co-hosted the weekday Heart Breakfat along with Ed James, but left temporarily to give birth to her first child. Sarah-Jane Mee deputised for her during this time, and became the permanent co-host of the breakfast show after Hellon's brief return in late 2006. Hellon then presented the Sunday morning breakfast show along with Ed James until moving to Wyvern in 2008.
