From its name, it is reasonable to assume that Spiritual Education has as its aim, making people more spiritual. However, what does it mean to be "spiritual". As Robb reports many of the definitions given are not clear. The theory and practice of spiritual education faces a number of challneging questions which researchers and practitioners are striving to answer.
# What do we mean by a spiritual person - what traits are we trying to develop through spiritual education?
# What is the difference between spiritual education and religious education and moral education?
# How do we actually do (or teach) spiritual education?
# If we already have moral education, character education, personal and social education, citizenship education and values education do we need spiritual education?

With the continual increase in crime, especially youth crime, societies through their politicians are striving to reduce crime throiugh crime education. In education circles there are several major questions about what crime education is and whether or not it is effective.
There are also some diffiuclties with terminology. For example, most educations (medical education, values education, character education) are designed to make people more comptent in a particular field. However, crime education is not designed to make people better at crime but to help them not get involved in it.
Another isue for crime educators is the duplication with other educations. Robb for example give four examples where individuals and organisations involved in crime reduction initiatives are using a values education approach.
Whilst much research has been conducted on nthe causes of crime, there s very little research on the effectiveness of crime education initiative on reducing crime. The diffiuclty facing educators is how to actually do crime education. One of the better explanations of the partcalities of crime education is give by Dr Bill Robb of The Centre for Alleviating Social Problems Through Values Education (CAVE) which is based in Scotland. He gives examples of three Socratic dialogues aimed at reducing burglary, shoplifting, knife crime and credit card fraud.
What is lacking in crime education are proper longitudinal studies to find out if people exposed to crinme education in whatever form it takes, become involved in less crime than those who are not exposed.

Predictions
Mr. Buss back in 2005 / 2006 predicted two major themes : that the so-called "globalization theme" was destroying capital markets due to the synchronisation across stock markets and that this would be a dangerous situation for investors because no market would be "safe" as a counter-balance. Recently, Nouriel Roubini of NYU stated that global market synchronisation is contributing to the global recession as all markets fall in similar fashion. In a graph from early 2006, Mr. Buss pointed out the unstoppable money supply M2 and credit growth within the US. Mr. Buss stated also long before the global recession started, two significant points : DEBT would become the overriding factor and that this would not be a recession, but rather a depression on the scale of 1929-1937. Finally, Mr. Buss predicted in the german article from Derivate magazine, entitled [http://www.dinl.net/sponsorData/1991/1991_DERIVATE_03Qu_BUSS.indd.pdf "Helicopters, Houses, Recession & Macrocycles"], that holding cash looked to be the optimal investment and that things would substantially worsen.

One definition of Emotions education is an activity designed to help people subdue and control the emotional habits that govern our lives. However, one must ask the question, how far subduing and control go, because some emotions are beneficial in human life. In addition, much more detail is required to explain what the aims of emotions education are and how emotions education can be conducted.
Robb goes some way to answering these questions but admits more has to be done. Another problem facing emotions educators is justifying the subject/activity. As Robb points out, much of what is described as emotions education is already taken care of in values education, sex education and drugs education, to give only three examples.
