Mordecai and Friends is a comic book series by Emily Copp. It is based on her cat, Mordecai. So far there have been five issues.
Origin:
The main character Mordecai was discovered when Emily was doodling in her notebook. She decided to draw a cat with a large, football-shaped head and whiskers that stick out of the side of it. Soon, she drew more and more pictures of the cat, which she now called "Kitty". A few months later, Emily decided to write a comic book series based on Kitty, but Kitty didn't sound like a good name. So then she changed it to the name of her cat in real life, Mordecai.
Main Characters:
Mordecai Cat- A happy-go-lucky kitten who goes to Kittyland elementary. He is also the most famous cat in Kittyland. Often wears nothing.
Fritz Felding- Mordecai's sort-of-nerdy friend who is an ace at science and math. Often wears a white labcoat and eyeglasses.
Carmella Catsworth- Mordecai and Fritz's crush and also one of the richest cats in Kittyland. Often wears exspensive clothing such as a synthectic fur coat, a synthectic fur scarf, a blue baret, lipstick, and eyeliner.
Setting:
In the small town of Kittyland.
Issues:
#1: The Cooking Contest
#2: A Stop To Shop
#3: Whisker Wars
#4: The Great Prank-Off
#5: A Baby From The Sky
UPDATE:
10-29-2011: Emily is starting a new issue of Mordecai and Friends when the trio go out on a trip to the old west.--Fred7601 (talk) 17:54, 29 October 2011 (UTC)
