Lucas Carpenter is an American singer-songwriter. Since 2000, he has released three albums and is currently working on his fourth entitled The Pixelated Path. He has also released albums of rare, live and acoustic songs. Lucas has enjoyed great success in the college and coffeehouse circuits, especially in and around his hometown in north central Pennsylvania thanks mostly to word of mouth. He is currently unsigned by any labels and produces albums independently.
Biography
Lucas Carpenter was born in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania. He attended Jersey Shore Area Senior High School, but graduated from Williamsport Area High School. His first album, Sun Bleached Windowpane, was realized while still in school. Growing up in central Pennsylvania as a self-appointed "art kid", Lucas wrote music about fitting in, love, and encouraging originality. He later attended and graduated from Boston's prestigious Berklee College of Music, where he won songwriting contests in 2004, 2005, and 2006. While there, he recorded with Bill Scheniman (Mick Jagger, Bon Jovi). He used the phrase "art kid" as an inspiration for his third album Art Kids From the Country, which includes a single by the same name.
From 2006-2007, Lucas became a literal one-man-band with the help of a live looping system. In his show he creates these loops by recording and layering multiple instrument parts (including guitar, harmony vocals, tin whistle, and even beatboxing) live onstage. During this time he has played at 150 colleges, clubs, festivals, and other venues.
Carpenter aspires to make the kind of music that people wind up humming or singing in the shower the following morning. He blends almost every possible form of music to create a unique style to capture listeners from all walks of life. Within his music, Lucas tries implementing a certain style of poetry that everyone can relate to. His music often contains sarcasm, humor, sincerity, and honesty as a way to connect with listeners.

Suttonians (Sutts) is an under 18's Irish nightclub found in Dublin, Ireland. It is located across the road from the Sutton Dart station & is also used as the grounds for Suttonians RFC, an Irish rugby union club. The disco is one of Dublin's most well known clubs, being very popular among Irish youths, especially the Scanger stereotype of Ireland. The club opens its doors at 8:00pm until 11:15pm every second Friday of the month, making it active for only two weeks every month except during the summer & Christmas holidays, when it usually extends to three weeks for a period of time, & has an entrance fee of 10 euro. The main music genres played are Dance & Hip-Hop.
Overview
Dancefloor
The main attraction of the club, of course. Located in the center of the building, the dancefloor is the biggest room in Suttonians, housing everything from the DJs to the wall hatches. The dancefloor holds four doors, one leading to the club entrance & toilets, another to the lounge & the last two out to the pitches. The DJs are found at the top of the dancefloor on a small stage. Requests for certain songs can be made to the DJs with a writing pad found at the mixers.
Pitches & Lounge
Although very small, the club gets over one hundred people when opened, making the back doors essential, as they lead out to the rugby pitches where most people like to take a break from inside & need fresh air. During winter times, however, the back doors are shut because of the weather. Besides the pitches, another place for people to take a break is the lounge, located at the back of the disco in another room, which has chairs, tables, sofas, etc. where most people like to chat & take a break from dancing.
Wall Hatches
There are two wall hatches found in the club, both in the dancefloor. One is used for selling refreshments, mostly Club Orange, Coke, & 7 Up, each priced at one euro per can, & the other used for hanging up coats, also priced at one euro for its service. A ticket is given out when a coat is left within the hatch, which is used later in the night to receive the coat back.
Club Rules
There are many rules within the club, and they are enforced. Before entry to the club, one of many guards search all male guests for chewing gum, weapons, glowsticks, smokes, etc. as most things damage the floor (gum & sticks) and others used for fighting (weapons). One of the most strict rules is that the club is a non alcoholic event, which both males & females are checked before they enter. Some people may be turned down if they are too drunk. If anyone is caught breaking the rules, by either smoking, fighting, etc. they are thrown out & told to go home. If they refuse and try to enter again the Garda are called to take care of the matter.
Criticism
Many people have criticised Suttonians for not taking their own rules seriously, as over 90% of the teenagers who attend get in while they are drunk, some even putting smokes down their shoes when getting searched & having them when inside. Another thing which has been the talk of the club for a long time is the entry of children (10 - 13), which most of the teenagers who go there find disgraceful & have even stopped going as it is "becoming a creche". However, due to popular demand as of January 5th 2007 Suttonians is becoming 14 - 18's, which will hopefully bring back more older guests.

Introduction
Drama Riding, a term coined by George Morris, is a new form of jumping position to fool the judge to think the rider's horse has a powerful jump. Drama Riders severely jump ahead, swing their legs back, duck, look down and throw the reins too far up the horse's neck. It is seen in the Hunter Ring and it is very, very ugly. Some professional hunter riders/trainers Drama Ride instead of riding in the classical form. Drama Riding is very dangerous because it makes the horse unbalanced and possibly fall or stop at a fence.
Some riders believe it's because Hunters is all about the horse and the rider's position shouldn't matter. This is a very poor excuse because it is seen by younger, inexperienced riders, and amateurs who copy the style. This is not a passing fad and you can look into a any equine magazine and see Drama Riding.
It has been discussed at length by George Morris. Morris starts one article "Last month (and long before) I was thumbing through issues of The Chronicle, and I was truly appalled by the style-or lack of style-of the top professional hunter riders in this country. Yes, I'm sure they have great feel, sense of pace, and eye for distance, but, my fellow horsemen, that is not enough."
Drama Riding Faults
The major faults of Drama riding are:
severely jumping ahead: It can be so severe that the rider's torso and pelvis is laying on the horse's neck. If the horse would stumble or stop, the rider would fly over the horse's head and hit the ground. Sometimes the horse is so unbalanced that it crashes through the fence, destroying it's confidence.
Incorrect release: Instead of using the classical Automatic Release, Drama Riders throw the reins to the horse's ears. This is due to severely jumping ahead. When you throw the reins away, you do not provide any support for the horse and ultimately lose control.
Incorrect Leg Position: Correct leg position provided support for your lower body which in turn keeps you balanced and put you in correct jumping position. Drama riders, due to riding with incorrect stirrup length (Their leg is at 110 degree angle, rather then the correct 90 degree angle) swing their legs back to the horse's flank, which in turn makes their upper body swing forward onto the neck. It irritates the horse as the leg touches the flank and may make the horse buck or even stop at a fence.
Ducking: Another severe fault is ducking. Instead of looking up, in between the horse's ear at the next fence, the rider ducks down onto the horse's neck and look down. When the rider is looking down, it makes them very unbalanced.
