Ben Constanduros (29th October 1985) is a Motorsports Commentator and TV Presenter on SkySports and MotorsTV. He is the son of Grand Prix Commentator Bob Constanduros.

His First TV appearance was in 1991 on Sky News advertising a small-scale Bugatti 35C for children, he said in the interveiw with the presenter 'i want be be like daddy'

Ben raced Karts from the age of 10 until 18 with a varying amount of success. He was also a finalist at 2006 Silverstone Driving Academy.

MotorsTV UK Karting Challenge

His First Presenting Role came in March 2006 when he appeared as the Male Presenter on the Motors TV Ultimate Karting Challenge alongside Samantha Park. He continued presenting each round of the MTVUKC for the whole of 2006. It was broadcast from Three Sisters Raceway, Wigan each month on MotorsTV UK following young karting hopefuls in a unique karting series.

His relationship with the programme grew in 2007 when he became the Producer for the Presenter links and saw features such as Tech Talk and Track walks added as a welcome break from the racing. The series expanded for 2007 requiring Ben to travel across the country following the budding racers.

At the end of the season, before the final race, Ben was booted from the team, however he still appeared on the end of the programme as a gesture of goodwill to his co-presenter Samantha Park.

World Motorsports

Ben first appeared on SkySports in August 2006 as a commentator on the Weekly Motorsport Magasine show 'World Motorsports' which covers the best Motorsports from across the globe. Through-out the rest of 2006 he sporadically could be heard along side veteran expert, Andrew Marriott.

2007 saw Ben take a more permenent role as the World Motorsports resident commentator for the World Series by Renault and the F3 Euroseries alongside Andrew Marriott and would also introduce the show and talk on other news items at various times in the year

Other Projects

August 2006 saw Ben commentate Live on Motors TV coverage of the 24 Karting du Le Mans with James Gornall. It was clear that, he was out of his comfort zone and thus it did not go well.

June 2007 was Ben's second live event, this time for Setanta at the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) race at Brands Hatch. He was partnered with his co-commentator at World Motorsports, Andrew Marriott and this went much better.

The Kartmasters Grand Prix was broadcast on Sky Sports in 2007 and Ben was the commentators on two programmes covering all the Grand Finals.

The Porkchop Bowl was the NFL matchup between heated divisional rivals the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys which followed the infamous Bounty Bowl II.

Even though almost a year had transpired since the notorious "Bounty Bowl" games, the vitriolic rivalry between the two teams was still firmly in Cowboys fans' memories. And this was the first encounter since Cowboys players and coaches were relentlessly pelted by snowballs during that last meeting at Philadelphia's Veterans Stadium.

The week before game day in Dallas, Philadelphia head coach Buddy Ryan and Ted Plumb, his offensive coordinator were out for dinner. Coach Ryan was dining on pork chops and started to choke. Fortunately, Plumb quickly initiated the Heimlich maneuver and saved Ryan's life. Word of the incident spread in Dallas, and hatred by Dallas fans was so fevered towards Ryan that former Cowboys' president Tex Schramm dubbed the pending game on October 28, 1990 the "Porkchop Bowl." When the game began, Dallas fans tossed pork chops and similar simulated meat products from the stands toward the Eagles bench.

The final score was 21-20 in favor of the Eagles.

Ecclesiastes is a book in The Old Testament. The word ecclesiastes is a Greek word which in English becomes "teacher" or "preacher." The author may have been Solomon or some other king reflecting philosophically on his experiences in life. He had been a student of wisdom, he had sought pleasure, he had undertaken vast building projects, he had become very wealthy. but after considering the value of these experiences he concluded, "all is vanity"" (1:2)

Ecclesiastes 2:10-11

These two verses talk about the act of lust and how achieving everything you desire is not good and a life lived like this will only end in vanity and the vexation of your spirit.

"You can give your eyes everything it looks at but they'll be no profit. Just vanity and vexation of spirit. Give to your eyes and you'll probably sin. Saw, look drawn away, sin, death. Saw, then desired, then took, then sin, then death. Before she saw, you're drawn away."
Kieran Palmer 2005
