Chris Putnam is an American computer engineer, known for his 2005 hack on Facebook which subsequently landed him a career position at the firm.
While attending Georgia Southern University in 2006, Putnam and two friends (Marcel Laverdet and Kyle Stoneman) wrote a computer worm that spread throughout Facebook. The worm used cross-site scripting to change users profiles to resemble MySpace, and deleted some contact details. The worm was eventually traced back to Putnam, and caught the interest of Facebook co-founder Dustin Moskovitz. Moskovitz consequently offered him an interview, and several months later, Putnam moved to Menlo Park, California to begin working at Facebook.
During his four years with the company, Putnam created the site's video application and helped improve the photo uploader, before leaving Facebook in 2010.
Putnam is also known for an incident where he climbed into Dustin Moskovitz's freezer. Facebook engineer Matt Cahill created an icon representation of Putnam in the freezer, which today is one of the available emoticons in Facebook chat, evaluated from
:putnam:
.

Battalen is a series of arcade game based online Shockwave Flash shooters released in 2008.
It is a multiple-mission shooter with distinct & variable modes of play. It also uses synthesized speech & sound effects. The game series consists of Battalen Arena and two sequels.
Gameplay
The game is a two-dimensional type in which the player controls spaceships with laser cannon by moving it horizontally across the bottom of the screen and firing at aliens & bases.
The aim is to defeat rows of alien bases & aliens that are stationary or move back and forth across the screen as the players advances through the arena. The player destroys an alien or base, and earns points by shooting it with the laser cannon. As more aliens & bases are defeated, the aliens' movement and the tempo speeds up. Defeating the aliens brings another wave that is more difficult, a loop which can continue till the player's destroys all the aliens or his spaceship is destroyed.
The player has to navigate their way way through the arena among waves of alien opponents to the challenger which is the spaceship Exor, and engage in a fight to death. The controls can move the spaceship left, right, up and down around in a 360 degree environment.
The ship can fire multiple laser shots, which travels around the screen & destroys enemy ships & obstacles. Players are given the ability to fire projectiles at their own discretion to attack moving enemies. The game can be controlled with the PC mouse & keyboard.
Features
Battalen consists of separate missions throughout the playing arena, each with its own patterns of enemies in each area. The central goal of each mission is to destroy all enemies in that wave, which takes the player to the next mission.
Successfully completing all five missions will increase the player's rank & continues on a higher difficulty level. The game continues until the player loses all their lives. The player can advance through higher difficulty levels at each rank.
The aliens attempt to destroy the cannon by firing at it while they approach from various sides the screen. If they destroy the player's spaceship Exor, the alien invasion is successful and the game ends.
The ship can also move across the top of the screen and award bonus points if more aliens are destroyed. The laser cannon is partially protected by several defensive bunkers that are gradually destroyed by projectiles from the aliens and player.

Spylacopa is a music project spearheaded by guitar player, John LaMacchia. Mostly known for his writing and performing in Brooklyn's Hardcore/Jazz/Metal fusion band, Candiria. LaMacchia formed Spylacopa and began writing music under that moniker in 2001, after 9/11, the event that inspired the name of the project, Spylacopa which is a variation of the word Apocalypse in reverse. Some years later after a brief departure from Candiria, LaMacchia had a brief conversation about the project with The Dillinger Escape Plan singer, Greg Puciato that led to him coming into the fold. Shortly after Jeff Caxide of Isis signed up to do some writing and contributing as well. Lastly Julie Christmas of Made Out OF Babies and Battle Of Mice agreed to contribute her vocals to a few songs as well. Some years later the project finally had enough material to begin recording and in 2008 Spylacopa released its Debut EP on LaMacchia's own, Rising Pulse Records receiving praise and critical acclaim from press.
Spylacopa is now in the process of finishing up a full length record slated for a March 2015 release.
