Claire Sheppard (born 6 November, 1982) is a British local campaigner and businesswoman, who established a community response to the COVID-19 pandemic in the UK, before official action by the Local Council. A movement of local initiatives on social media or through voluntary organisations became prevalent across the country in 2019-2020.
Background and community activism
Sheppard ran a market research company, which specialised in finding and filming people for research projects where people talk to brands, charities and organisations, to share their lived experiences. She has worked on projects around food poverty, HIV testing, modern slavery and investigating the feelings evoked from driving.
Nunhead Rocks
Sheppard organised a community group that assists the elderly and vulnerable with food efforts and odd jobs, called Nunhead Rocks.
Nunhead Knocks
As a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, from the blueprint of the Facebook group of Nunhead Rocks, she founded Nunhead Knocks, a support group to assist those isolating and struggling (see Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic) making her one of the pioneers of community responses to COVID-19, something which attracted attention from the media, local and nation-wide organisations. was also established by Sheppard in Nunhead, and she has been elected Branch president three times. and social justice issues locally. The Toei Tokusatsu Universe is a shared fictional universe and media franchise, centered on various superhero characters created and owned by Toei Company. The shared universe started with the release of the original Kamen Rider in 1971, which led to the eponymous franchise, spawning 32 TV shows and numerous movies based on them. Other parts of the shared universe include such franchises, as Android Kikaider, which started with the release of the eponymous TV series, Super Sentai, which started with Himitsu Sentai Gorenger and Metal Heroes, which started with Space Sheriff Gavan. Although, there are other TV shows and movies in the shared universe, for example Spider-Man (1978), based on the eponymous character created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko and owned by Marvel Entertainment.
Overview
The original Kamen Rider television series was created by famous manga artist Shotaro Ishinomori and began airing in 1971. It told the story of young man Takeshi Hongo, who was kidnapped by evil secret organisation Shocker and remodelled into a cyborg against his own will. Although, he manages to escape and decides to fight against the evil organisation. In his misadventures, he was accompanied by his racing mentor Tobee Tachibana. The original series ended in 1973 and was a huge success. 1972 saw debut of Android Kikaider, but it had nothing to do with Kamen Rider at first.
When the original Kamen Rider ended in 1973, the same year the direct sequel, Kamen Rider V3 television series, began airing, although Double Riders weren't its main characters. Kamen Rider V3, Kazami Shiro, was also accompanied by Tobee Tachibana. After the show ended, the next Kamen Rider series was Kamen Rider X, which founded the idea of more standalone Kamen Rider shows, that weren't real sequels. Tobee Tachibana was a side character in this show as well. Kamen Rider X also saw returns of Kamen Rider 2 and Kamen Rider V3, establishing shared universe connection between all Kamen Rider shows at the moment. In the fourth show, Kamen Rider Amazon, past Riders didn't return, but Tobee Tachibana did. The final episode of Kamen Rider Stronger connected all of the shows at the moment with identify of Great Leader. It also was the final appearance of Tobee Tachibana among shows, although his last appearance in general was in Immortal Kamen Rider Special. In 1975, the same year when Kamen Rider Stronger debuted, Super Sentai franchise started with Himitsu Sentai Gorenger, created by Shotaro Ishinomori but it also wasn't related with Kamen Rider franchise at the moment. Connection between Kamen Riders and Super Sentai was first mentioned in JAKQ Dengekitai vs. Gorenger movie, where for example Kamen Rider V3 and Kamen Rider Amazon were mentioned. In 1978, Toei Company produced Spider-Man 1978 TV series, which was the first co-production between them and Marvel. Toei's version of Spider-Man teamed up with Kamen Rider V3 in special two-part magazine crossover Kamen Rider V3 vs. Spider-Man. In 1993, Kamen Rider 1 teamed up with Tsuburaya Productions' Ultraman in special movie Ultraman vs. Kamen Rider, although these events didn't have any effect on two franchises. 2005 saw the first ever reboot of Kamen Rider, titled Kamen Rider: The First. Although it was safe to assume it's set in its own timeline, this version of Takeshi Hongo appeared in Kamen Rider Kabuto, set in the main timeline. Some years ago, OOO, Den-O, All Riders: Let's Go Kamen Riders movie was released in 2011. Not only all main Kamen Riders at the moment appeared in it, but also other Shotaro Ishinomori's superheroes, such as Android Kikaider, Kaiketsu Zubat and Inazuman. The next year, one of the biggest crossovers in history of Kamen Rider and Super Sentai was released. 2012's Kamen Rider × Super Sentai: Superhero Wars crossed over all main Kamen Riders and Super Sentai and started Superhero Wars film series. The next film in the series, Kamen Rider × Super Sentai × Space Sheriff: Superhero Wars Z also showed crossover with Metal Heroes, specifically Uchu Keiji/Space Sheriff, establishing connection between them and Kamen Riders and Super Sentai. In 2014, the original Android Kikaider was rebooted second time with Kikaider Reboot movie. This version of character appeared in Kamen Rider Gaim TV series, to promote his own movie. Crossovers between various Toei heroes became extremely common, establishing most of the shows as set in one timeline. Although, starting with release of Kamen Rider Amazons in 2016, several other shows, such as Kamen Rider Build, Kamen Rider Zi-O, Kamen Rider Zero-One and Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger were confirmed to take place in separate continuities in wider multiverse. They still have crossovers with the main timeline though.
