Amy Mathieson better-known by her stage name Violet Mathieson (born 8 September 1976) is an English-born actress and dancer who lives in the United States.
Biography
Amy Mathieson trained for ballet as a youth. Her first acting role, whilst still a school pupil, was the role of Juliet at The International Festival of Culture in Toyama, Japan for the Crown Prince and Princess in a production supported by Sir Alec Guinness and Mark Rylance. She was selected from hundreds of schoolchildren to win the role. During her teenage years she also appeared at The National Theatre in London.
Passionate about film, she missed school in 1998 to work for free for Evolutions Television where she made tea and sat in on Tariq Anwar's editing of the drama film Harnessing Peacocks and the comedy film '.
She graduated from the University of Birmingham with a BA Hons Degree in Drama with English before enrolling at The Poor School equivalent 'the Actors Company' (a full-time acting rep company in training). From this she obtained a three-month West End run of The Bright and Bold Design in which she played the comedic role of Joyce. She also worked as a runner for Carlton TV and Oasis. She supported herself by working at TGI Friday's in Piccadilly Circus.
Mathieson then toured the UK and Europe in many theatre shows starting with TIE and playing Nancy in '. A keen and natural classical dancer she continued to train at Pineapple Dance Studios in all dance disciplines and has appeared as a dancer in many music videos and commercials. She also studied Mesiner technique and screen acting in London and New York City. After acting in around 20 short films her first big movie break came when she was cast by director Maria Micetich as the leading role Lily in the British Indie film Gin and It. The film premiered at the British Film Festival in Los Angeles in 2009 to great excitement. The film is set during the second world war in a London burlesque club. She learned to perform burlesque and the dance scenes for the movie were then filmed in complete takes. The film was edited by British editing talent Natasha Westlake.
In 2008 Mathieson relocated to Los Angeles, California. Between 2008-2010 she worked exclusively in LA recording audiobooks for Harper Collins with Deyan audio, acted in several feature films including the soon to be released Christian movie 'Leaving Limbo' and turned her hand to stand-up comedy and improv. In 2008 whilst performing at LA Connections she found herself onstage with British stand-up and leading actor Fiona Hardingham. They spent the next two years performing live through LA including head-lining the world-famous Comedy Store on the Sunset Strip. They made a music video "Cougar Lovin'" and quickly became in demand as radio and podcast guests. Fi & Vi have written their first feature film Who Let the Dogs Out and are in negotiations for funding.

Waqas Saeed, also known as "Wax", is a British radio presenter. He was born in Manchester on 22 February and studied at the University of Bedfordshire. His "nearly career" in making films was short lived after joining BBC Asian Network in 2004.
He created the characters Wacky Waqas and Waki Shroff on the station and has interviewed Jackie Shroff and Asian glamour models.

"Best Shoes" was used by Lady Gaga as the music for her stage show at the Jingle Bell Ball at the O2 in London, December 2009.
