Timetales is a widely renowned Star Wars fan-made timeline that had its beginnings in 1996. Created by Christoper McElroy, the timeline first appeared online at the Star Wars Virtual Edition website created by Roderick Vonhögen (a Catholic priest from the Netherlands, who later went on to create the Daily Breakfast and Catholic Insider podcasts). Soon after, Michael Potts from Australia, contacted Chris McElroy, and offered his own research and advice, and a great fandom collaborative partnership was born. The pair complemented each other with their "bricks and mortar" approach; McElroy writing story summaries, and Potts providing all the filler information.
1997 saw Timetales being hosted by the world famous theforce.net, the leading fan Star Wars website on the internet. Timetales grew at an exponential rate, the document now over 1,100 pages in length. Timetales offers both an online version, which is illustrated (unique amongst Star Wars fandom timelines), and as a downloadable Microsoft Word document.
Also available on the Timetales website are Star Wars family trees created by Potts, and "Dune Sea Scroll", created by McElroy. These documents are expanded transcripts of the Star Wars films and Radio dramas. Another feature of their website is "Arcana Historica", which is a presentation of long forgotten, un-reprinted Star Wars adventures and non-fiction literature. Many have never been seen by the casual Star Wars fan; Some even the more knowledgeable fan has not seen.
Not only has Timetales been widely recognized amongst fans, but authors as well. Christopher McElroy and Michael Potts have been acknowledged in the New Jedi Order - Force Heretic trilogy written by Sean Williams and Shane Dix. They have also been acknowledged by Daniel Wallace in 'The Essential Chronology', the official Star Wars timeline guidebook published by Lucasfilm.
Timetales has also been translated into other languages by other fans.

Scottish Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) (Gaelic: BC na hA) is the proposed name which would be given to an independent broadcasting corporation in Scotland to succeed the UK wide BBC. The name first came into usage when the Scotland's nationalist SNP government called for broadcasting rights to be devolved to the Scottish Parliament. Whether the SBC would simply be a renaming of the current BBC Scotland/BBC Alba or an entirely new body altogether remains to be seen.
