George Thomas Foggin III (born 5 September 1937), known professionally as G. Thomas Foggin or simply Tom Foggin is an Associate Professor of Geography and Director of the Environmental Studies Program at the George Washington University.

Ustad Ranbir Singh (Bhaini Sahib) is a Taus player.
Whilst in Ludhiana, Punjab, he was taught by 'Guru' Jagjit Singh. At the age of 5, 'Guru' Jagjit Singh began to teach Ranbir Singh the dilruba. When he had reached a higher stage of playing, he was directed to Ustad Surjeet Singh who taught him various styles of playing.
He was then sent to Pandit Ram Narayan ji for sarangi and dilruba training. Pandit ji passed his experience on to Ranbir Singh. After this Ranbir Singh chose his instrument of choice, the taus.
Since then Ranbir Singh has had a four year post at All India Radio station. He has also gone on many tours including to UK, USA, Canada, Germany and Australia. Ustad ji now is a tutor for the Raj Academy and resides in Leicester.

The Primary is an American rock band from Dallas, Texas. The band is composed of Josh Vasquez (guitar/vocals), Jekris Certeza (drums), Jose Levario (bass), and Matt Pedersen (guitar, keyboards).
The Primary released their first album in January 2009. The album, People Going Places, has enjoyed success and praise by the people who have heard it and has sold well for a self-recorded, self-released LP. The Primary has been played on 106.1 Kiss FM on the Kidd Kraddick in the Morning show and has had their album positively reviewed by music critic Maurice Moss.

Formation
Josh began the band The Primary around August 2007. He played shows at America's Best Coffee in Arlington, Texas until Jek sat in with him on December 1st, 2007 and later decided to join the band permanently. The duo next looked to find a bassist to fill out their sound but Jose found them and passed an audition in February 2008. The Primary now composed of Josh, Jek and Jose went on to play and record for a year until Matt was asked to audition and make The Primary a quartet in March 2009.
Early Shows and People Going Places (August 2007-March 2009)
The Primary made their public debut on November 10th, 2007 playing at America's Best Coffee in Arlington, Texas. They continued to play shows steadily until August 2008 when they decided to take a short break and finish recording their first album People Going Places. The album was recorded and mixed by the band themselves in their home studio in Grand Prairie, Texas. The Primary released the album on January 1st, 2009.
Album Two (March 2009-present)
Currently The Primary has begun work on Album Two and on their official website they posted this update:
"Yesterday we began work on Album Two by outlining 20+ songs that will be contenders for that album. Recording will commence very shortly and the cogs will start turning again. This time around we are hoping to put together a more professional package for you all who are interested but we will probably record and mix the album ourselves again."
A release date has not been made public nor have any contending songs or album titles.
Influences and Songwriting
The Primary has a wide range of influences and tries to fuse many of these to create different sonic textures that have not been heard before. Music is ever-changing and The Primary observes that fact with the type of music they have been making since the beginning of their career.
The Beatles are a band that have influenced every member of The Primary along with Radiohead. On various songs you can hear influences from artists and composers as different as Miles Davis and Olivier Messiaen.
