Michael F. Hollander (1946-) is a public relations professional, automotive historian and motor sports journalist.
In 1979, Hollander worked with the then-fledgling CompuServe Information Service to provide motor sports news on a real-time basis worldwide. By Sept. 1, 1983, that service evolved into the Auto Racing SIG and later into The Motor Sports Forum. The service initially relied on volunteer reporters and phone calls to race tracks to get racing results, later creating a cadre of both professionals and amateurs that continues to report the news today. In 1995, Hollander brought the service to the web, as The Motor Sports Forum. The service was discontinued on CompuServe not long after that service's purchase by AOL. In addition to The Motor Sports Forum, the newswire contributes to print and online news outlets worldwide.
Hollander has authored two books, The Complete Datsun Guide, and The New Mazda Guide, both for the TAB Books division of McGraw-Hill. The Datsun book led him from a career path in aerospace to one in marketing and advertising. He worked as product information manager and later as product information director on the Nissan advertising account at William Esty Co. Inc., Advertising and at Chiat/Day Advertising. He is currently the manager of information resources for PCGCampbell, the 10th largest privately-held marketing communications company in the United States. Current accounts include the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum, presented by the Auto Club of So. Calif., Yokohama Tire Corporation and the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
He was one of two reporter/photographers to cover both the 1975 and 1979 Cannonball Baker Sea-To-Shining-Sea Memorial Trophy Dash, an outlaw street race later made into several motion pictures including The Cannonball Run with Burt Reynolds and Dean Martin. His work appears in the upcoming film, 32 Hours, Seven Minutes.
Hollander is the national vice-president of the American Auto Racing Writers & Broadcasters Association (AARWBA) and serves on the board of the Motor Press Guild (MPG), respectively the largest organizations of motor sports and automotive journalists. He has been honored with numerous awards for his work, including special recognition in 1995 to the Car Craft magazine Drag Racing All Star Awards; the AARWBA Dusty Brandel President's Award in 2007; the International Automotive Media Association Awards; and the AARWBA writing, photography and broadcasting contest sponsored by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and IndyCar Racing. He is the past chairman of the Datsun Owners Clubs Association (DOCA) and the former editor of its magazine, Datsunews. He is the editor at large for MotoRacing and also writes for Automotive Performance News . He's been quoted in The New York Times, USA Today and AutoWeek. Early in his career, he provided racing reports on both NBC and ABC radio networks and on other radio outlets.
He is a veteran of the United States Navy, where he earned a Combat Action Ribbon, the Navy Unit Commendation with one bronze star, the Good Conduct Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal with four bronze stars, the National Defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal from the Republic of Vietnam. After tours to Vietnam on the USS Coral Sea (CVA-43), the USS Oriskany (CVA-34) and the USS Prime (MSO-466), he attended the Navy Data Systems Technician school in Vallejo, Calif. and then taught at the school for four years. He also attended the University of California in Davis and graduated from Solano College with an AA degree.

Band Speculation
In and interview with Sound the Sirens dated October 4th, 2006, the band briefly kicked around the idea of a third album. An excerpt from the article states:
If the third record the Nightingale is pondering comes to fruition, it would feature a shift to their personal side that the band has not tried before.
"We've discussed if there was a third one, it would be scaled back," said the Nightingale. "It would probably be just the core (the Nightingale, the Walrus, the Lynx and the Skunk). And it would be less chaotic. It'd still be our signature chaos, but we won't be out to drain everyone's brain.
"This third one, if there is a third one, it will be the apocalypse."
Announcement
At around 8:00 on Monday October 15, the Nightingale stated in a bulletin and blog on the group's Myspace page that there would be a new album released on Epitaph Records in the future. His exact quote was:
Friends and Fans, After one album, a reissue of our first EP, and a live DVD (three very special releases to us), we bring you the latest newsflash: our third album will be released on the pioneering and long-established Epitaph Records. We were extremely blessed to have had the opportunities provided for us by Equal Vision Records for the aforementioned releases, and could not have been happier there. The label and staff remain friends, and we will continue to work closely with them to make sure our merchandise is available to all of you. This third record coming out on Epitaph simply gives us a chance to reach new channels and new faces, which, ultimately, will work in everyone's favor, as you and we continue to grow, while simultaneously maintaining the independent ethics so important to us. Thank you for your ongoing support, and, as always, believe nothing you hear unless it comes straight from us. We are excited for the ongoing future of this incredibly cathartic project.
Although there were many guest artist appearances on Lover, the Lord Has Left Us..., the new album will be similar to the first EP, Tiger & the Duke, with the Lynx, the Walrus, the Skunk, and the Nightingale focusing on the album entirely.
The Sound of Animals Fighting announced via myspace bulletin on January 5th that the new album has been "tamed" and should be finished by the beginning of February.
Just a quick report from the studio... To say we are excited about the new album would be an understatement. I don't think any of us, as usual, had any idea what this would sound like going into the process, since we head in without much but a few random ideas. For awhile, the album was in the form of an uncontrolable beast, but we still did not know how to capture and tame the beast into an actual record. Yesterday, we had a killer session and the beast has been captured and identified. We should be wrapping up this album within the next 30 days=ish. I hope you all are as excited as we are. Can't wait for you to hear things....
Unfortunately, this blog post has since been removed, but can be found to be referenced to throughout the internet.

They have since posted a myspace bulletin on April 12th saying that tracking is complete and that they are now mixing the album.
...we have entered the mixing stage on the new album. Many more details to come, but cover art is completed, and so is tracking. Very excited for you all to hear. More soon....

"Dr. Dani" is a professor with several online universities educating in the fields of technology, economics, management and statistics. She has earned her PhD in Organization & Management with a technology emphasis, an MBA and her bachelors in Business. She worked within Corporate America, primarily for real estate companies, specializing in information technology. After earning her doctorate, she transitioned to running her own real estate investment business and teaching online, which continues today. After publishing three books on real estate, she has become the go-to person for a number of business analysts and television studios.
----
Early life
Danielle Lynn Wright was born to Susan and Dennis Wright on March 15, 1975. She grew up in Riverside County, California, remaining there throughout her college year.
While completing her undergraduate studies at the University of California at Riverside, Dani began working as an Information Technology Director for Loma Linda University, School of Public and Allied Health. As her education progressed so did her career as she quickly advanced to an Associate Professor for Loma Linda University, School of Public and Allied Health. She graduated from the University of California at Riverside in 1997 and immediately enrolled in her MBA program at the University of Redlands, Whitehead College. She earned her MBA in 2000 with an emphasis in technology.
After working several more years in Corporate America within the realm of real estate, Danielle began pursuing her doctorate while teaching part time in addition to her full time work in real estate technology. She quickly earned a reputation for providing quality work and service to learners as she established herself as a professor. After her graduate studies and achieving her Ph.D., Dr. Dani became a doctoral mentor for learners in the areas of statistics, economics, real estate and technology. After a short time of balancing both her fulltime corporate America career with her teaching career, Dr. Dani left corporate America to run her own business and consultancy, at the same time authoring several books, all within the first 18 months.
Personal life
Dr. Dani was married in 2001 and divorced in 2003. She married again in 2006 after dating nearly three years. She and her husband currently reside in Newport Beach, California.

She is also a regular Fox's \business channel - Fox Business Network
Controversy
Dr. Dani has been criticized by real estate professionals by writing books indicating their value in the marketplace is dropping. As she noted in her first book Commissions at Risk, homeowners will soon be able to sell their homes entirely online or purchase only services they need from agents, potentially eliminating the need for them within a decade. She continuously criticizes the ten-decade-old MLS system as antiquated and protectionist, and criticizes agents who do not use technology to maximize their efficiency and rode out the increasing market prices while still adding little value for a 2 to 3% commission. She is a strong advocate of capitalist economies and letting the market and free enterprise rule and believes technology will lead the way in the future. While she teaches agents and other real estate professionals how to modernize their business, she firmly believes those that don't will be left in the dust. She's long been critical of almost all mortgage brokers and their business model design as it inherently rips off the customer requiring them to pay more money ever month for their loan than a direct to lender situation. She recommends consumers go direct to lender or shop online only and avoid mortgage brokers at all costs.
