Biography
Roman Jason Cory Weaver (born January 14, 1971) is a film director, producer and musician.
In a career that spans almost 20 years, Weaver has crossed some boundaries with his style and type of film making. During his early years Weaver was encouraged by his uncle who was a professional photographer. Growing up with a camera in hand was natural for Weaver and led to the career that he has today.
Film Career
Acting
Weaver had a recurring role on IETV's 2008 television series Dark Tomorrow. Weaver's most notable acting roles is his portrayal of Dick Delemonte in that series. 14 episodes were shot.
Directing
Weaver directed a series of television shows during 2007-2008. IETVs 2008 television series Dark Tomorrow featured the film noir style as well as an influence from Robert Rodriguez Sin City. Weaver also directed The Amazing Nerdiverse, 2008 which cast Steven Teuchert as the host of the show. The show's main driving point was the news of the nerd which was brought forth in a Talk Soup style, as well as show casing the antics of the crew that wrote and produced the show in a Behind the Scenes style.
Weaver also directed two music videos. Surface, Gray Lady Down - 2004, and The Morning Comes, Sean Thomason - 2007. Weaver was the drummer as well as co-editor and camera operator in the Fusebox video Transmission which was filmed on a 6 day completion schedule from idea to fulfillment and a budget of $150. Weaver was the camera operator, set construcion, and story board artist for Flesh and Bone by the band Belljar. Weaver also participated in the recording of the Belljar album Omed which the music video came from.
