Donald N. Wood (born September 20, 1934) is an American environmentalist, educator, critical thinker, media theorist, and writer best known for his works in media production, communication, and postmodernism.
A graduate of Earlham College (Richmond, Indiana) with a B.A. in Speech and Music, he went on to the University of Michigan, earning both a M.A. and Ph.D. (emphasizing Radio-TV). He spent about nine years in various production and administrative positions in Educational Broadcasting, and thirty-one years in college education—culminating with 28 years as Professor of Media Studies at California State University, Northridge.
He is now retired and living in the woods of North Carolina, where he teaches courses at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Duke University, continues to write, muses about the decline of democracy and society, and travels with his wife, Marie V. Wood.

Yasmine White (born July 15, 1989 in Arcata, CA) is an American triathlete who competes at the Junior Elite level.

White participated in club swimming from age 12 and was a standout runner at Arcata High School (Arcata, CA class of 2006).
Career titles
US national titles
White has won a number of national titles beginning with an Ironkids Triathlon National Title in 2003. As a youth triathlete White claimed the Youth Elite Title in 2003 and successfully defending it in 2004. Upon moving to the junior ranks White was runner-up at the 2005 Junior National Championships and claimed the title in 2006.

White's international debut took place at the 2004 Pan American Junior Championships in Edmonton, Canada where she defeated Ofelia Arriaga of Guatemala to win the 14-15 age group. Since then White has represented the United States at two ITU Triathlon Junior World Championships where she finished 44th (Gamagori, Japan, 2005) and 39th (Lausanne, Switzerland, 2006). White has also competed in two ITU Duathlon Junior World Championships which included a 4th place finish in 2006.

White was named the USA Triathlon Junior Triathlete of the Year in 2006 after receiving an Honorable Mention in 2005. White was also named the USA Triathlon Junior Duathlete of the year in 2005 and 2006.

Charles Andrews Heath (1860-1949) was a Chicago businessman best known as the founder and president of Continental Seed Co.
Born in 1860, Heath was raised on the east coast, primarily in Massachusetts. He graduated from Williams College and married Jennie June Greene in 1882. The Heaths had two children, Albert and Alice Greene, born 1888 and 1892, respectively. Jennie Heath died at in 1925, but Heath continued to support his family until he died in 1949. For the 40 years following his marriage, he worked for the Dickinson Seed Company. In 1919, he split from the company and founded the Continental Seed Company.

Bass Physics is an American electronic music group from Denver, Colorado. The group is comprised of Arja ‘A.P.’ Adair and Luke Sims, teenage friends who started collaborating in 2011, their senor year at Cherry Creek High School. Bass Physics’ sound has been described as up-tempo blend of Electronic, R&B, Hip Hop, and Funk elements and is known for its fusion of electronic dance music mixed with live instrumentation.

A.P. was best known for his rhythm guitar role in local Denver jam-band ‘Rocky Mountain Funk’ and produced electronic music on the side under the name ‘Applied Physics.’ Previous to working with A.P., Luke Sims performed and produced electronic music under the stage name ‘DataBass.’ When the two met and formally began producing music together, they combined their names and became officially known as ‘Bass Physics.’
2011-Present
A.P. Adair and Luke Sims began producing music while attending their senior year of high school in Greenwood Village, Colorado. After graduating from Cherry Creek High School, Luke Sims accepted a scholarship to play football for Iowa State. A.P. chose to attend Colorado State University, but they stayed connected and continued diligently with their music production. In early 2012, they began preforming live in college towns throughout Colorado and quickly began garnering attention state-wide with their energetic performance and live set. Within their first year of performing together, Bass Physics was featured at Red Rocks annual ‘Global Dance festival,’ ‘Sonic Bloom Festival’ and University of Colorado’s ‘Welcomefest,’ as well as various out-of-state performances throughout the U.S.
Bass Physics released their debut album, Lose Your Mind, in April of 2012. The eleven-track project highlighted the group’s progressive sound and was well received by fans and critics alike. They followed up their album with the popular release of the summer singles ‘Old School Melody,’ ‘Summer Solstice’ and ‘Global Love.’
