Born June 23, 1984 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Luke is a Canadian stage, television and film actor currently attending Langara College Studio 58 acting program. He's appeared in Studio 58's productions of "Guys and Dolls" as "Sky Masterson". In which he recived an impressive review from "The Georgia Strait", "Luke Camilleri’s Sky Masterson is velvet-voiced but not quite the elegant caricature he might be." As well as an equally astonishing review from "The Vancouver Sun", "Luke Camilleri's movie-star looks sure don't hurt his work as Masterson, nor do the strong singing and, again, sense of his character in a cracking performance." More recently, he's appeared in Studio 58's production of Maxim Gorky's "Summerfolk". His earlier performance in Studio 58's, "A Perfect Wedding" was also well received from the "Georgia Strait", "Luke Camilleri plays James, Meridee’s sister’s boyfriend. I swear I can see a star hovering over this guy’s head. He’s remarkably natural—unprepossessing yet engaging."

Luke has recently crossed over to film and television. He is signed to star opposite Daryl Hannah in the film, "The Cycle". Which is due to begin filming this fall, on location in Prague, Czech Republic. He's appeared in the upcoming "Andromeda Strain" series which will be released by "A&E" next year.

Luke Camilleri has also appeared in "Rainbow Theatres" production of "Les Miserable" in his pre-Langara years as "Marius". As well as numerious other productions within his middle and high school years when he was attending Lake Trail Middle and G.P. Vanier Secondary schools.

He has clearly established himself as a skilled and versatile actor with an amazing singing voice as well.

:This article is about the American poet and author. See Charles W. Upton for the American economist and Charles H. Upton for the Virginia congressman.

Charles Upton (b. 13 December 1948) is an American poet, Sufi, and author on metaphysical topics. Born in San Francisco, California, he grew up in Marin County. He met Lew Welch while attending Catholic school, and Welch helped Upton get his first two books published. Despite his chronological age, those volumes established him as a member of the Beat generation of poets. Subsequently, Upton was involved in the peace movement via the Sanctuary movement and with the New Age movement via Gates of Horn, a dream networking group. In the eighties he was initiated into the Nimatullahi Order (a Sufi order) and his publications since have addressed Sufism and Traditionalism. He is married to Jennifer Doane Upton, a fellow poet and Orthodox Traditionalist, and lives in San Raphael, California.
