Oliver Colvile is a British Conservative Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for the Plymouth Sutton and Devonport constituency at the next general election. He contested the Plymouth Sutton seat in the 2001 and 2005 elections, and will be standing for a third time in 2010.
Background
Colvile comes from a Naval family, his father having served in the Royal Navy for over thirty years, his grandfather was the first Lieutenant of Plymouth’s Naval barracks and his uncle was in the Royal Marines, serving at Stonehouse. He has lived for the last ten years in the old Royal Naval Hospital, the Millfields, in Plymouth.

He has stated that his interest in politics took hold at school when he became fascinated by how an idea could become a law or policy to protect civil liberties, enhance people’s freedom and enjoyment of life. He joined the Conservative Party’s professional staff when he was just 21, working for some well-know Ministers and high profile back-bench MPs. It gave him some great experience at the deep end and he was later entrusted with masterminding and devising community campaigns which saw the Conservatives hold on to a number of highly marginal seats.

Observer-Centered Formalism (OCF) is an approach to Physics that puts the observation in the center of the formulation of the laws of physics; OCF is concerned of only "what The Observer can see" and describes the world "as it's seen by the observer".
In stronger terms OCF postulates that it makes no sense describing the physical reality that is not the subject of the observation, t.e. what is not being observed doesn't exist.
OCF is an extension of Copenhagen Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics and it paints a less deterministic picture of the universe.
OCF introduces a mathematical object Я describing the Observer and suggests that the laws of physics must explicitly include Я. The observable laws are therefore different for different observers and different branches of Physics might become asymptotic idealisations corresponding to Я-functions that are orthogonal, and thus can not be observed simultaneously.
OCF outlines a different approach to developing a Theory of Everything by suggesting that Quantum Mechanics, Quantum Electrodynamics and General Relativity are all orthogonal and therefore can not be observed simultaneously.
OCF makes causality violations impossible and thus resolves The predestination Paradox
OCF explains why the Space and Time are treated differently in Quantum Mechanics.
OCF eliminates assymetry between the future and the past [] and provides a logical proof for the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics.
