Founded by two Catalan sisters, Galeria Contrast has been a hot spot for art in Barcelona for two decades. The gallery made its name showcasing local talent and offering high quality work at reasonable prices.
Content
The gallery has long emphasized paintings with an edge. Art that terrifies, inspires, challenges and defies genre. This is sure to continue and remain a central facet to the gallery's aesthetic ideology.
Current Collection
Under the direction of Eric Carlos Bertrand, the gallery is undertaking a reinvention of mission. While the traditional notion that Spanish artists create for Spanish clients, the gallery is now showcasing international art in line with the hottest trends developing on the global art scene.
