Biography
MacYoung was born in Los Angeles, and spent a majority of his childhood in the Los Angeles area. By his own account, he spent his youth in situational poverty and ethnic diversity. He gained his knowledge of crime and violence on the streets of Los Angeles. He was first shot when he was fourteen. He later worked as the warden of a correctional institute, bodyguard, bouncer, security, all of which put his life into danger. He wrote his first book Cheap Shots Ambushes and other Lessons, published by Paladin Press, in 1989. He later wrote thirteen more books and produced five instructional videos on personal safety / self-defense.
MacYoung worked set construction, set dressing, swing gang, lead man, props and FX on several films such as The Hanoi Hilton, Rush Week, Limit Up, Breaking the Rules, Wicked Stepmother, Best of the Best, Seedpeople, Syngenor, Death Warrant and Bad Channels.
In 2009 MacYoung teamed up with Rory Miller, author of Meditations on Violence (2008), Violence: A Writer's Guide (2010) and Facing Violence (2011). Based on over five decades combined experience confronting violent felons, intoxicated and deranged individuals and other dangerous people they developed Conflict Communications. Originally designed for police to de-escalate situations from turning violent, they've expanded the same concepts into conflict resolution and management for business and personal relationships.
MacYoung currently resides in Colorado where he and his wife, Dianna Gordon, developed and maintain his No Nonsense Self Defense, a website which covers a wide range of violence-prevention and criminal psychology topics.

Endpoint Mixing
Endpoint Mixing (EM) is a new and ground breaking sound engineering principle invented by Moses W.M. Wong in February 28, 2014. The new sound recording, transmission and reproduction method provides everyone next level of sound experience with higher overall sound quality, sense of immersion, and 3D sound. It also enable musician, movie maker, game studio and people from all walks of life a new dimension of creating and distributing sound with all kinds of content. Its applications include but not limit to:
* HiFi System
* Music Concert
* Cinema
* Home Theater
* Video Game
* Mobile Devices
* VR
* etc.
EM is able to provides better sound quality than stereo, high fidelity (commonly called HiFi), high realism, and new and unique listening experiences, in particular, spatial experience and 3D sound.
EM Layer One Technology
EM Layer One is fully compatible with stereo sources, and by using EM Layer One algorithm and a specially designed integrated multiple speakers system, it is able to create high end music and 3D sound. The special sound characteristics includes multiple layer of sound images each occupies its own 3D space in front of the audience. And by carefully managing these spatial attributes, the audience can experience live concert effect, 3D surround experience with movie, strong spatial experience during game playing and much higher music sound quality with plentiful of sound details
The following summarizes three unique characteristics of EM Layer One:
Characteristics 1 - Audition Position
By practicing EM theory, the traditional "King Seat" requirement is cancelled. Audiences has complete freedom to select any position at the listening back end while still receiving same level of quality sound experiences.
Characteristics 2 - 3D Sound Images Formation
Different sound images forms at different 3D coordinates play at the same time gives you total new sound experience, for example, playing music of a rock band, you hear vocal sound in a narrower front middle space slightly above the front speaker that gives audience a sense of getting very close facing and listening to their favorite music stars, while guitars found in the middle space, and finally sound of bass guitar and drum set goes all the way at the back covering much wider area.
Characteristics 3 - Highly Realistic Live Performance Sound Experience
EM's very unique 3D Sound Imaging capability creates highly realistic live performance sound effect that gives the audience an immersive experience of being there, close to the performing stage. Furthermore, audience have the freedom to choose which angle they like to listen to the music.
While the audience choose to move around the space in front of the EM sound system, he or she may hear different sounds at different horizontal or vertical listening angles. Hence, EM gives audience limitless varieties of entertainment per song.
New Era For Musician And Music Industry
Endpoint Mixing brings the world a whole new era of music production processes, mainly because of the introduction of 3D Sound enhancement over Stereo Sound, which means a new dimension for creating music. Due to the fragmentation structure of the new EMX file format (to be introduced in EM Layer Two and Three) EM introduces a new form of music creation process over Internet and Social Media.
Intellectual Property Right
Endpoint Mixing is patent pending internationally.
Footnote
EMX is a proprietary file format, and use of computer file in EMX format is subject to EM patent usage license.
