Definition
Fairware is the term for software released and distributed for a symbolic (fair) price - hence the name "fair-ware". The term was first used by Internet sites marketing software for one dollar, but can as well be used to describe any software of which the cost is marginal in comparison to the benefit.
History
The term was invented by Yael Rubinstein and Adi Daniel, in Tel Aviv, Israel, on January 2008, and the first Internet Site using the fairware marketing model was Wishapp.com , later that year.
Fairware, is actually a more moderate, less cynical term for Beerware.

The Hyland List
Also known as List C, The Hyland List is a Barrister's Clerk located in Melbourne, Australia. It was formerly called Lennon & Hyland or List H before it divided into two distinct lists.
As most barristers who are members of the Victorian Bar - being the relevant Bar association and peak body for barristers in the State of Victoria - are required to have a clerk, List C is one of 13 clerks who operate in Melbourne.
Other Barrister's Clerks in Melbourne
The other clerks operating in Melbourne are List A (known as Barrister's Clerking Service), Michael Green Pty Ltd, Dever's List, Foley's List, G.J McNaught Pty Ltd, Peter Lennon (formerly of Lennon and Hyland's), Paul Holmes, G.W. Meldrum Pty Ltd, P. J. Roberts Pty Ltd, R.J. Howells Pty Ltd, Gordon and Jackson and Patterson's.
Background
The list began in 1960 and has grown to house many generalist barrister practitioners in Melbourne. Housed at ground level in Isaacs Chambers, it is purportedly the largest clerk's office in Melbourne, being able to house practitioners within its office space.
Being a generalist list, the practitioners on it cover a wide field of legal work, from Intellectual Property to Traffic Law.
