Joy Autumn Joy Autumn is a singer/songwriter and composer from Los Angeles. She discovered her love for writing songs at the age of five, making up lyrics while playing and recording piano parts on an old cassette recorder in her hometown of Olympia, WA.
The Olympia native gave out cassettes as a young child to cheer up friends and family. Her experiences in a chamber group in her early 20’s led to her writing pop/rock tunes in the chamber style and discovering a new writing voice she hadn’t known she possessed.
In 2010, she self-produced and released her first EP, Scarlett in Seattle. In it she delivers a sort of reserved pop that calls on her baroque background for inspiration, allowing melodies and movement to take the fore instead of electronics and percussion. Scarlett reviewed as "a breath of fresh air, a highly enjoyable side-trip".

After Scarlett's release, she moved to Los Angeles to develop her talents. She collaborated with Joseph Trapanese (Daft Punk, M83) on their orchestral release entitled “Don’t Cry.” It was during this time that she began penning a whimsical collection of songs about love, heartbreak, and Hollywood.
Her album “Sunny Lemonade” was released independently on April 5, 2016. The album was produced by Grammy winner Sheldon Gomberg (Ben Harper) and is a poignant collection of songs that radiate compassion, love, forgiveness, and deep internal strength as she sings about love, heartbreak and Hollywood. She explores her own very unusual and alluring style of singing that falls in the singer/ songwriter tradition. Her music has been compared to artists such as Regina Spektor, with both featuring "similar instruments, pleasant vocals, and lyrical subjects"

Dropidas great-grandfather of Critias, and presumably, father of Critias (Critias' grandfather and patronym). Reputed by Critias, to be an intimate friend of Solon.
From Timaeus:
Critias: Then listen, Socrates, to a strange tale which is, however certainly true, as Solon, who was the wisest of the seven sages, declared. He was a relative and a great friend of my great-grandfather, Dropidas, as he himself says in several of his poems; and Dropidas told Critias, my grandfather, who remembered and told us: That there were of old great and marvellous actions of the Athenians, which have passed into oblivion through time and the destruction of the human race, and one in particular, which was the greatest of them all
