Charles Alamo (born November 16, 1984) is an American soccer player currently playing for Los Angeles Galaxy in Major League Soccer.
Alamo was PAC 5 League MVP, All-County MVP and a member of the All-CIF First Team with San Luis Obispo High School in San Luis Obispo, California, before attending UC Riverside. Between 2003 and 2007 Alamo played in 45 games for the Highlanders (despite missing virtually the entire 2005 season with a broken finger), registered 10 shutouts, was named Big West Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2006, and Big West Keeper of the Year in 2007. He is the UCR all-time leader in goalie wins, saves, minutes played, matches played, and shutouts.
During his college years Alamo also briefly played with the now-defunct Central Coast Roadrunners of the USL Premier Development League in their final year of competition.
Alamo was the 18th overall pick in the 2008 MLS Supplemental Draft, selected by the Los Angeles Galaxy; however, he is unlikely to feature prominently in the 2008, after he tore knee ligaments during the Galaxy's pre-season.

Millicent Lovejoy (19 May 1935 - ) is an American actress, philanthropist, and socialite.
Biography
Millicent Victoria Lovejoy (née VanDaane) was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on May 19, 1935 to Dutch immigrants. She attended Kalamazoo College from 1953 - 1954, where she studied theater and English. She withdrew after her freshman year to pursue acting in California. Despite having only attended for a year, she continues to make substantial gifts to the college.
VanDaane's first film role came in 1956 alongside Marilyn Monroe in the film as an uncredited "teenage girl". Monroe and Lovejoy became friends during filming and referred Lovejoy to Lee Strasberg where she studied at his Actor's Studio until 1958. In late 1958 she began assisting Strasberg at his studio, as the clientèle was quickly multiplying. There she worked alongside actors such as Paul Newman, Al Pacino, James Dean, and Jane Fonda.
VanDaane met Quincy Milhous Lovejoy in 1960 while working for Strasberg. Lovejoy was a young businessman from Cambridge, Massachusetts who had plans to expand Strasberg's studio to California. VanDaane and Lovejoy married at midnight on January 1, 1961 in New York City, New York. He choked to death in July of that same year while eating a hot dog on a ferry off of the coast of South Korea.
In 1962, the recently-widowed Lovejoy founded the Quincy M. Lovejoy Foundation that seeks to benefit various charities including: The Triangle Foundation, ACLU, Greenpeace, Human Rights Campaign, and others. In 1971, Lovejoy founded Portland, Oregon's Lovejoy Surgicenter. Lovejoy Surgicenter was the first private facility that provided abortions, and is currently Oregon's only state and federally licensed abortion provider.
After Lovejoy's widowhood in 1961, she spent much of her time traveling and frequenting metropolitan cities' dance halls, clubs, and bars earning her the title of a "party girl". Occasionally she would perform comedy acts and sing, but she refused payment and tips. In the 1970s she frequently visited "Studio 54", which was the scene of a series of bitter fights between her and Liza Minnelli.
Today Lovejoy resides in New York City, continues to travel, and makes it a point to attend Kalamazoo College's annual "Crystal Ball" as the headliner.

Introduction
CMGN News (Abbreviation of Croft Media Group Network) was a short lived new channel that only ran for 6 weeks from the 1st January 2000. The channel was set up and owned by the now defunct Croft Media Group which was owned in turn by the then prosperous British Croft Family.
Vision
CMGN was supposed to be the first news channel to be broadcast in every single country in the world (Bar North Korea). This was to be achieved by positioning satellites in such a way that every county could be reached, however only 4 of the intended 6 got up into space at a massive cost to the Croft Group. The news programs were broadcast from the CMGN studios at Canary Wharf London. The studios were built high atop number 1 canada square at a massive cost. The channel run 24/7 news with only small advertisement breaks.
News Readers and Staff
From the start the Croft family were the only hosts on CMGN, the principal owner Maxx Croft being the main news anchor, his son Theo Croft daytime anchor and his sister Anabel Croft his counterpart at night, and cousin Ben Croft did the early morning slot. Most of the production and behind the scenes staff were taken from Maxx Coft's time as MD at NBC news in America.
Studio
The studio was very futuristic for the time featuring state of the art touch screen computer systems from Apple, glass desks and a huge window of london to the rear which was covered in a special touch sensitive film that could be turned into a giant screen for weather forecasts and news features. The news features were filmed in HD which at the time was considered as mad the entire cost of the studios were estimated by Fortune magazine at £7-Million.
Demise
From the start CMGN got into difficulties with money, Maxx Croft demanded that all the news readers (his family) be paid 6 figure salaries in the first week of filming. Maxx Croft's high demands also fell on advertisers who were unwilling to pay billions of dollars in worldwide advertising so the only takers were CMGN themselves. Apple also briefly flirted with CMGN showing macintosh adverts and broadcasting Macworld and WWDC, 2000 live on the channel.
Finally the channel closed in mid February displaying an on screen message "Due to technical difficulties CMGN cannot be broadcast, broadcasting will regain shortly, thank you for your patience", this message never left the screen and is still viewable if you tune a satellite box correctly as CMGN still owns the rights to the broadcasting frequency.
Post CMGN
After the demise of CMGN the Croft family were financially ruined, they now reside in the remains of the central London studio which was never officially used by CMGN. The building is a very substantial Victorian fruit growing greenhouse and was converted by CMGN into a large studio and state of the art production suite. The family now lives in the un-finished studio. Maxx Croft is still desperately trying to get CMGN back on the air and to save his reputation. He was given a desk job at Apple headquarters in London and earns a fraction of the millions that he used to.

Zabala Vineyards is successfully family owned, and located in the heart of the Central Coast just outside Soledad, California. The vineyard has earned distinction for the limited release of wines produced each year under the Zabala Family label. Its Managing Director, J. Luis Zabala, has overseen the vineyard's thousand acres since the late eighties, and focuses his efforts on producing premium winegrapes from a cool growing region, including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling and Syrah. The vineyard property is located in the center of the Arroyo Seco AVA and is bounded by a river of the same name which holds the distinction of being one of last few rivers in California which has not been dammed. Wines grown in this vineyard are noted for their intense fruit characteristics and remarkable texture. The region is noted for its cobbly, shallow soils and a climate marked by cool winds gusting south off the Monterey Bay. Vines grown in this area endure a long growing season and produce small clusters with intense flavor and color. In addition, the Zabala Family has considerable acreage devoted to row crops in the Salinas Valley.
