Luke Dodge is an American actor known for his roles in short-form streaming series called microdramas or verticals (aka Duanju). He has gained widespread attention on platforms such as ReelShort and DreameShort, with his projects collectively surpassing 150 million views. Dodge is the son of actress and singer Heather Brown Dodge.

Career

After starting as an actor and model in local commercials, print ad campaigns and short films, Luke Dodge began acting in microdramas, also referred to as verticals due to their mobile-first vertical video format. This new form of serialized storytelling has been compared to the soap operas of previous generations, acting as a launchpad for a new wave of actors.

On ReelShort and DreameShort, Dodge has appeared in multiple productions, including:

  • The Tutor Trap - his first starring role in a microdrama as the romantic male lead
  • Don't Miss Me When I'm Gone - one of his most popular projects, which has attracted more than 170 million views
  • Straight A Pregnancy – a ReelShort title with more than 50 million views
  • My Boss Is My Secret Sperm Donor - another ReelShort title with over 20 million views
  • Second Baby, Second Chance - his earliest microdrama in a supporting role on DreameShort

His work in microdramas has positioned him among the notable early actors in this emerging format with his own dedicated Fandom page on the ReelShort website, which is among the top microdrama publishers in the US having overtaken Netflix in the Entertainment app rankings.

He was cast in his first major motion picture for Netflix’s Bad Day starring Cameron Diaz and Ed O'Neill to be released in 2026.

On Nov 07, 2025, he was added to celebrity messaging site, Cameo as a Vertical Drama Star.

Personal life

Luke Dodge was born on July 25, 2005 in Los Angeles, CA to parents Graham Dodge and Heather Brown Dodge. He was raised in Kansas City, Missouri and Westminster, Maryland where he studied as a dual enrollment homeschooled student at Carroll Community College and at the Maryland Ensemble Theatre in Frederick, Maryland.

Casino.org is an online i-gaming news and comparison site that publishes reporting, data journalism, game guides and casino-operator reviews. Established in 1995, it is one of the longest-running i-gaming publications on the web and is frequently cited by mainstream newspapers, business magazines and trade journals.

Casino.org publishes in English as well as regional editions in Spanish, French and German. It also operates Vital Vegas founded by Scott Roeben.

In September 2025, Casino.org broke the Guinness World Record for the most casinos visited in 24 hours. The brand partnered with former Amazing Race contestants, Joel Strasser and Garrett Smith, to take on the previous record of 74. The trio visited 115 casinos in Las Vegas within 24 hours and are the current world record holders.

History

Casino.org was founded by Warren B. Eugene in June 1995 as the public face of his Caribbean Casino software project, which Time identified that month as one of the first attempts to run real-money table games on the nascent world wide web. Two years later, the San Francisco Chronicle described Eugene as an early "online [...] pioneer", reporting that he was negotiating a sale of the business while U.S. lawmakers weighed an Internet [...] Prohibition Act.

Mainstream outlets regularly cite its investigations. The Las Vegas Review-Journal relied on Casino.org research for a widely shared tipping guide in December 2023, and has continued to quote its coverage of ATM-fee and parking-charge increases on the Las Vegas Strip. Financial news outlet TheStreet likewise attributes scoops on property reopenings and fee changes to Casino.org exclusives.

In January 2026, Casino.org announced Michael Owen as their UK and Ireland brand ambassador. Talking about their partnership, Chief Gaming Officer, Alexander Korsager, said "He’s a respected sporting icon who will resonate well with our audience."

Platform

Casino.org publishes in more than 100 national or regional editions, including separate versions for Canada, Brazil and over twenty U.S. states.

Casino.org maintains an open research archive that has been cited by legal scholars examining Canadian sports-betting liberalisation.
