The Lying Down Game is an Internet meme typically involving individuals having their photograph taken whilst lying rigidly face down.
The practice has spread on the internet site Facebook and has been described as "bizarre new craze" and "perhaps the most bizarre internet phenomenon yet to sweep the globe".
Two aims of the challenge are that the participants should lay down in as public a place as possible, with as many people as possible involved. Participants should have the palm of their hands held against their sides and their toes touching the ground. No location is out of bounds and a disregard for personal safety can give extra kudos.
The game attracted over 1,500 members on its Facebook game in its first two weeks.
The phenomenon attracted international press coverage after first appearing in The Northern Echo, the daily newspaper for the North-East of England.
In September 2009, it was reported that seven NHS staff members at Swindon's Great Western Hospital were under investigation and facing possible dismissal after they posted pictures of themselves on Facebook participating in the Lying Down Game on the hospital's resuscitation trolleys, ward floors and the Wiltshire Air Ambulance helipad.

Michael Boadi-Alawiye, known by his stage name Myx Quest, is a British-born Nigerian record producer, and entrepreneur. He is the founder of Qirv, home to EMI Music-published musician H-Boogie, younger sister of Estelle. Quest has found success in several genres of music and is best known for his music production work with international artists such as Bashy, Booty Luv, Solange Knowles, Daniel DeBourg and Kelly Rowland.
Biography
Early life
Myx was born and raised in West London, moving to Ghana to attend a number of schools, including Alsyd Academy and the elite Mfantsipim School, a Methodist boarding school in Cape Coast. During this time Quest was selected to represent Ghana at the Stockholm Water Festival, as well as being a member in the Ghana United Nations Students Association (GUNSA), later returning to London for further education in Music Technology and Business.
Career
Myx started out in the music industry as a performing artist whilst simultaneously working as a writer and producer for unsigned, signed and published artists. Starting out as a a recording engineer intern he quickly became the studio's main engineer working with the likes of English R&B and soul singer-songwriter Terri Walker at Poisonous Music. He went on to form his own company formerly known as The Q Entertainment (now Qirv Music) which led to his first release as a producer and songwriter through Arista/BMG in 2004 for artist Nina Jayne’s record “Could’ve Been”.
Myx then went on to release his first production album, The Q Overdue, independently as a limited edition soft release which gained him further recognition. Myx also received particular support from BBC Radio 1’s Ras Kwame for his promo track, “Make It Happen,” which was featured on the Radio 1Xtra’s website for over a month. This exposure led Myx into collaborations with recording artists across genres on compositions, tracks and lyrical content for the likes of Estelle, H-Boogie, Nina Jayne, Wiley, Bashy, Terri Walker, Daniel DeBourg, and T2.
In July 2004, Myx founded The Q Collective Limited, an umbrella company housing The Q Entertainment, with support from a number of initiatives, including The Princes Trust and the Arts Council England. Myx Quest also played an active business role in the launch of Music World Entertainment International (MWEI), the international company of Music World Entertainment (MWE), owned by Matthew Knowles. In July 2007, Quest rebranded and formed the Qirv group of companies housing Qirv Music, a music production division of the Qirv brand, Qirv Positive, a non-profit social enterprise for various charitable activities, and Quintessential Avant-Garde (Q.A.G.), a fashion and lifestyle brand.
In May 2009 Myx Quest firmed his business relation with EMI Music Publishing inking a deal for singer-songwriter H-Boogie, whose hit record “Love Has Gone" was a number one on the UK Dance Chart, released on the Hed Kandi label.

Boonex Dolphin Smart Community Builder is a free and open source Social Networking system using the PHP scripting language and MySQL database software under the GPL license. Recent versions are able to run on Windows-based Web servers (older version required the use of CHMOD permissions and so were limited to UNIX-based systems). It was created by the 'Boonex' company and has been around for 5 years. It was built around the internet dating script 'aeDating' although it has been superseded by Dolphin 5.0 (newest revision 6.0) as AEwebworks Dating Software Development Ltd. had now changed ownership to the BoonEx Group. The original script cost $690 however the Dolphin scripts are free due to built in adverts for Boonex products, custom templates are however allowed to remove these. Recently, after the release of version 6, Boonex have adjusted the advertising, allowing users to download the package with or without them. However the non advert package will only work when a correct licence key from Unity is obtained.
Dolphin is one of five products that Boonex offer, including:
*Orca - An Ajax-based Forum script that is either standalone or built into Dolphin
*Ray - A community widget suite, including A/V messaging, MP3 player and more in a web interface
*Shark - An enterprise community platform
*Barracuda - A collaborative directory software script (no longer distributed or recommended)
Boonex's latest build of dolphin is 6.16 released in 2009. It is codenamed 'Spunky' because of its newest features.
