Extension is a server-based middleware appliance that integrates HL7, or web services-based medical application with Cisco’s Advanced Unified Communications platform, and with smart phones via standards-based protocols. Flying Meat is a Seattle-based American software company that specializes in applications for Mac OS. Flying Meat was founded by Gus Mueller in 2003 and later joined by Kirstin Mueller. Their first application, FlySketch for screen capture and markup, debuted in February 2005 and is currently available as version 1.6.3.
