The New York FileMaker Developers' Group began as the New York FileMaker User Group in the late 1990s, assembling a cross section of FileMaker users and developers at monthly meetings in Manhattan. It has become a well-known source of FileMaker expertise in the New York area. Meetings are regularly attended by people from the metro area of New York and New Jersey, upstate New York, Connecticut, and occasionally Massachusetts.

Over time it became evident that the core members and direction of the group was towards the professional developers' side and the name was changed from Users to Developers, although any given meeting may have people from all ranges of expertise and backgrounds.

Exact history is a little cloudy, but core of the group began with developers Tim Neudecker, Tim Brown and Steven Scharf. By the time Scharf moved to Maine some years ago, an active culture had taken hold, held together and supported by perhaps ten or fifteen central members.

A given meeting of the Developer Group usually varies around twenty or so people, though at times twice that number has shown up. The central feature of the organization is knowledge sharing and problem solving among and for members.

Fluxus Heidelberg Center was founded by Litsa Spathi and Ruud Janssen. Under the name Fluxus Heidelberg, the artist duo are creating performance art and documenting everything on their site and with publications. They use new technologies and internet tools for their performances, like digital cameras and CDs.

The Fluxus Heidelberg Center site (see link below) is the place where all Fluxus activities of the artist-duo Fluxus Heidelberg (Litsa Spathi and Ruud Janssen) are documented. It includes interviews with Fluxus-artists, photos of performances, historic facts, full documentation of all performances by Fluxus Heidelberg, Fluxus Poetry by Litsa Spathi, an overview of all publications by the Center and by other Fluxus related artists. You will find information about how to contact them, links to other sites that are interesting for you and a sitemap.

The Center itself was founded in July 2003 and is building up a large collection of Fluxus material. Both artists were active in the Fluxus-world for years and are in contact with founders and active players of this movement. Their Fluxus-activities are a continuation of the early Fluxus-movement. They use the modern techniques in their performances and document their activities in digital and printed form. A large set of digital photos and digital fluxus poetry is published on this site. The modern life with its hectic situations form the playground for their performances.

Gnome Basic (GB) was a software project whose goal was to provide Visual Basic compatible functionality for the GNOME project. Compatible functionality with Microsoft Office's Visual Basic for Applications was considered especially important.

The project has since been discontinued, and apparently never went beyond the development stage. The Mono project, which implements VB.NET, largely supersedes it.

Dina_jewel.jpg

Dina Jewel (also known as Chris De May, Dina Juwel, Nanna, Alison (karupspc.com), and Nanna Gibson) is the most common alias for a Norwegian pornographic actress (born February 1, 1978). She has been in many European and American [...] productions. She is one of the most successful Norwegian [...] stars, though her career began in Sweden due to the limited nature of the pornographic film industry in Norway.

Jewel got into [...] film in her late teens, first working in European hardcore. Among her notable European work is World [...] Tour #13 (working with Mark Davis and Mr. Marcus). American producers signed her as a talent shortly after in the mid-90s. Dina's first American works were for Private Video. Her first notable American work is Nasty Nymphos #20 (working with Vince Vouyer). Dina seems relaxed in front of the camera and her early roles give no hints of tension. Jewel was Miss February 1998 Penthouse Pet of the Month.

As of late 1999, Dina left the porno industry. In June 2005 there was a minor scandal at the Swedish medical products agency. An executive had been dismissed from service since it was known that one of the consultants hired for interviewing [...] addicts was Dina Jewel. Apparently Dina Jewel has put a lot of effort in making a career outside the [...] industry.

Among her notable works include Amateur Madness #28, These Girls Walk?, Climax Shots #089: [...] Treasures, Butt Banged Hitchhiking Whores, and Seymore Butts's Think Sphinc (working with T.T. Boy).

She also did a photo shooting for the German Playboy (12/96).
