Prince of Persia 4 is an upcoming video game being developed and published by Ubisoft.
Concept art leak
In September 2006 a 2GB file archive containing concept art, apparently for a new Prince of Persia game, as well as a number of other games was leaked.
The file was soon posted on among other sites. On September 21 2006 Ubisoft made an official statement about the leak.
Two pieces of art show a younger looking, more muscular Prince. Whether or not this is the same Prince as the one in the The Sands of Time trilogy is unknown. Another piece shows the "Prince of Persia" text logo, similar to the one used in the trilogy, but without the sandy background. Instead, the blue lettering seems to emit wisps of magical smoke. Another piece shows a woman raising her hand. On her palm is the image of an eye, which seems to emit the same magical smoke effect as the logo. The artist is unknown, since he or she did not sign the art. It should be noted that after IGN read OXM's report, IGN then decided to call Ubisoft and were told that they never made a statement about officially announcing a new Prince of Persia. This game has never been officially announced nor acknowledged to exist by Ubisoft.
