The Artist
Lesbia Claudina Vent Dumois was born in Las Villas, Cuba in november 6, 1932. She develops the Painting, Engraving, Drawing.
She studied in the Escuela de Artes Plásticas "Leopoldo Romañach," in Santa Clara,Cuba. And in 1961 she obteined a UNESCO´s fellowship to study lithography, in Prague. In 1968 she was member of the Taller Experimental de Gráfica (TEG), in Havana, Cuba. Since 1980 to 1993 she was Director of Fine Arts. Casa de las Américas, in Havana, Cuba. And since 1993 to date she is Vice President of the Casa de las Américas, Havana, Cuba.

Individual Exhibitions
Among her personal exhibitions we can quote in 1954 'Grabados', in the Galería Habana, Arte y Cinema La Rampa, Havana, Cuba. In 1961 she presented hers works 'Engravings', in the Union of Fine Artists, Prague.

Collectives Exhibitions
She also was partin many collective exhibitions, among them we can quote in 1952 Exposición de la Estampa Cubana, in the Museo de Bellas Artes de Toluca, Mexico City, Mexico. In 1959 she was participated in the 16th National Exhibition of Prints. Washington, D.C., U.S.A. In 1977 she was one of the artists selected to conform Cuba Peintres d'Aujourd'hui, in the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, Paris, France. In 1984 also participatedin the First Bienal de La Habana. Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, Havana, Cuba. And in 1995 some of heers works were selected for the 1er Salón de Arte Cubano Contemporáneo. Awards
During her life she had obtained many awards and distintions, among them we can mention in 1960 the Prize at the Primer Certamen Latinoamericano de Xilografía, Argentina. In 1972 she gained the Prize in the International Print Biennial Cracow'1972, Krakow, Poland. And in 1996 she was recognized with the Alejo Carpentier Medal, Council of State, Republic of Cuba.

Her works can be found conforming important collections such as Casa de las Américas, in Havana, Cuba; And the Collection of Engravings, in Berlin, Germany.

Steve Sawyer is a founding member and Associate Professor in the at Pennsylvania State University. He holds affiliate faculty appointments in Management and Organization department of the Smeal College of Business, the Labor Studies and Industrial Relations Department in the College of the Liberal Arts and the Science Technology and Society program in the College of Engineering.

Contribution
Steve sawyer is one of the figures in the area of . Along with scholars like late Prof. Rob Kling, he has played a role in promoting the principles of Social Informatics in the United States. In numerous studies conducted to date, he has tried to focus on the ways in which people interact with each other and utilize information and communication technology. Going beyond the conceptualization of technology as a sole driver of organizational change, he, among other scholars in the field, have directed attentions to wider social and institutional aspect which factor into the process of ICT-enabled organizational change. His research focus on issues with the uneven take up, use and value derived from computerization efforts. The stream his of empirical work and theorizing draws on studies of software developers, enterprise systems implementers, and knowledge-intensive professional work such as real estate agents, police officers and intelligence analysts. His research has been supported by Coring, IBM, Sonoco, IBM, Xerox, the Lattanze Foundation, Lockheed Martin, and the National Science Foundation.

Background
Sawyer has earned his Doctoral Degree in Business Administration from Boston University in 1995. He also holds a master’s degree in both Engineering and Information Systems. Prior to joining Penn State, Steve had served on the faculty of the School of Information Studies at Syracuse University. At Syracuse, he was named Professor of the Year in 1997, and also had served as the director of the PhD program.

Since 1995, he has published numerous works, including papers in a range of journals such as communication of the ACM, European Journal of Information Systems, Information Technology & People, The IBM Systems Journal, the Information Society, and The Information Systems Journal. He has been also associate editor of many information systems journals.

Lebanon Valley Mall is an enclosed shopping mall located in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, United States. The mall is home to over 50 stores and a movie theater; Boscov's is the mall's anchor store.

The mall opened in 1975 with Boscov's and Ames as its anchor stores. JCPenney was added in 1997, which relocated from the nearby Lebanon Plaza Mall. Ames was later replaced by a furniture store called Sharp Prices Outlet, and JCPenney closed in 2007. Both the former Ames and former JCPenney are currently vacant.
