Parrises Squares is the name of a fictional vigorous athletic game in the Star Trek universe.
Much to the concern of parents, the game was quite popular with teenagers during the 24th century.
Events
Star Trek: The Next Generation
When playing Parrises Squares, players often worn special uniforms, that were padded; and they used a piece of equipment called an ion mallet. The game also involves the use of a ramp, and if players are not careful, they may fall off and injure themselves.
Raymond Marr, a colonist on Omicron Theta played Parrises squares with a group of his schoolmates. He started when he was very young but was gifted and even won a championship emblem in the game.
The Starfleet Academy team faced the Minsk team in the Parrises Squares Championship Finals of 2324. It came as a big surprise when Starfleet Academy won, as the Minsk team was favored. Starfleet cadets threw a celebratory party that wreaked havoc on the academy grounds and took Boothby three weeks to repair.
Starbase 74 had a Parrises Squares team, which the team played against during its stay there in 2364.
While healing a deep cut William Riker's face, which he acquired from Data's cat Spot, Doctor Crusher lectured him "to stop playing Parrises Squares as if you're 21," further advising him that "one day, you'll break your neck, and I won't be able to heal that as easily."
Star Trek: Voyager
M'Kota R'Cho was the only Klingon national that played Parrises squares, when he participated in the controversial Championship Finals of 2342.
When The Doctor created a holographic family for himself in 2373, his 'daughter' Belle was on her school's Parrises Squares team. This worried her 'parents', because Parrises Squares can be a dangerous game for someone her age. It later turned out their worries were justified, as she later 'died' of complications from a Parrises Squares injury.
While in Starfleet Academy, Harry Kim played Parrises Squares, and was the Academy champion three times.

Kadis-kot is a fictional board game in the Star Trek universe. It is played on a six-sided board with three sets of coloured tiles: red, green, and orange. Visually, the game appears to be a variant of Reversi or Othello. It appears to be a game of logic and strategy for 2 players, but as many as 5 players have been shown playing together.
The characters of Naomi Wildman and Seven of Nine played the game sometimes, after the events of the episode "Infinite Regress".
