Kaleb Nation (born September 16 1988) is an author and nationally syndicated radio show host. He is most noted for being the host of the national radio countdown program The Top 5, under the alias Kaleb Krew, having been only 17 years old when he launched and began hosting the show in early 2006. Kaleb is also noted as being 13 years old when first appearing on his own show in the Austin, Texas radio market.
Early Life
For the first few years of Kaleb’s life, he grew up in Orange, Texas, a small city in east Texas located on the Sabine River. He moved with his family to multiple small cities near Austin, Texas; where, near his 13th birthday, he was given a volunteer position at KNLE-FM, a CNN affiliate radio station broadcasting throughout the city. Kaleb hosted an untitled program for nearly a year before leaving the station. Rumors later surfaced of a program hosted by Kaleb to be tentatively titled ‘The Thursday Night Exclusive’, but no such show was ever reported and the program does not appear on Kaleb’s press bio or the KNLE website.
Radio Career
After many years of being gone from radio, Kaleb reappeared in late 2005 with a new radio show, broadcast online exclusively through his website http:// www.kanation.com (currently redirected to http://www.kalebnation.com). This program originally featured Kaleb’s five favorite songs of the week, later being recreated with a system for listener votes to pick the five songs on the charts. This program later became the basis for Kaleb’s show ‘The Top 5’ and was moved to http://top5live.com.
Kaleb personally called every radio station in the eastern side of the United States, soliciting his program on behalf of SoundWave Media, the production company he founded to syndicate his show. He received no success until WJNF-FM in Florida agreed to take the show for Saturday evenings at 11 PM. After a series of successful shows, The Top 5 was moved to a more teen-friendly 9 PM slot, and stayed in that position until the closing of WJNF in November of 2007.
After being accepted to WJNF, Kaleb’s radio show received national exposure and was then requested by other stations across the country. By the time Kaleb turned 18, The Top 5 was being broadcast in over 20 US states and 5 countries including South Africa, the UK, Canada and Indonesia, on FM, AM, Internet and Satellite radio.
Since starting his show, Kaleb has interviewed such artists as Plumb, Skillet, Jump5, and Canadian star Christine Evans, debuting her US single on his program.
In early 2007, Kaleb was also signed to be the lead voice-over for WZDG-FM in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Authorship
Kaleb has worked towards being an author since a very young age, once even telephoning the senior editor at a major publishing house to pitch a novel when he was 12 years old. As reported on his official website, Kaleb began his first serious novel on March 3rd, 2003 (3/3/03) when he was 15 years old, while lying on the top bunk in the room he shared with his brother. Kaleb says that the first idea he had for the book ‘involved two characters sitting on a rooftop waiting for a burglar to come’. This scene has been reported to appear in his upcoming novel, the title of which has remained unrevealed.
In May of 2007, just months after completion of the book, Kaleb signed with a leading New York literary agency for his novel. It is unclear which agency he is represented by as its identity has not been publicly announced.

However, local Chineses soon became converted to Judiasm by Jakob and harrased those who would not accept him. The local rabbi, Moses Chi Hwih asked the Chinese govenor to intercede, on their behalf. Fearfull, of an uprising the govenor ordered Jakob and all his followers to be drowned.
