Dan David' (b. December 28, 1977,) is a Ukrainian Canadian Rock violinist (with a Classical and Celtic background) paving his way to a new style of music that is largely appreciated by listeners in North America and around the World.
While playing the violin since the age of 7 and later studying under Scholarship at the McGill Faculty of Music where he also played as soloist for the McGill Chamber Orchestra (Soloist from 1993-1995) where he often performed at prestigious concert halls around Montreal and the West Island, Dan David's first experiences of fame happened in the summer of 2000 when Persian Pop Diva
made her comeback to singing after 20+ years of being banned from singing in her home country. Her first concert took place in Toronto at the Air Canada Center where over 13,000 fans came hungry to celebrate her comeback. Dan's violin playing for this 3 hour concert was also televised and released on DVD and has touched the fans with the unique feel of his playing.
As a songwriter, Dan has been offered major publishing deals with BMG music before its merger with Sony during that time (which he did not sign). He started his involvement in film composition, recording and as his day job, Dan was called on to become a violin teacher. Seeing the quick success he experienced in his first year of teaching, Dan knew his methods were different and made learning easier for his students. Combining a unique approach of seeing from the student perspective and covering key details that made all the difference in their progress, Dan knew his methods must be published so teachers around the world can work with them for greater results with their students. This is when Dan David took on creating , the perfect method for all beginner violin students featuring an 88 track play along CD.
The book
was then published by Canada's major print publisher , where Leila Fletcher books are printed. Dan felt genuinely accomplished by his new status as Author having created a method that made the difference and was released in early 2006.
Dan David then got back on track to working on his new album, There's Peace. One that was in the works since July 2004 when his first CD was released. Local fans loved the new message of searching for the Right Place along with Celtic flavored songs like Strolling for a Cat and Dive Deeper and with several Cover story press releases, Interviews and televised appearances, fans awaited the new album and follow up to his .
It took more time than expected, and 2006 did not yet see the release on his new Album. With many concert dates picking up since February of 2007, the album was much in demand. Dan David started and his fan base grew stronger. The first Single, There's Peace, was released by producer and a growing number of fans connected deeply with the message of Peace.
While often performing as an acoustic act with Violin, Guitars and vocals, Dan has also established the band Saved by a Vision, a modern new Rock band with Celtic influences led on vocals by actor / singer . His new CD would feature both Acoustic songs that have a special healing effect on the listeners, and full band songs that empower listeners greatly.
With the ongoing demand for his New CD that Dan would also make available to his fans outside of Canada and in music stores, a preview CD was released in July 2007. CD copies were selling fast at his public appearances, and much appreciated by fans, but no one could conceive what was to come. While promising an Official CD release for August, Dan David wanted to make an album that will truly connect with his fans with the new song S t r o n g that would become a soundtrack to their lives. Inspired by his own life and rising over every challenge, Dan David teamed up again with producer Charles Amore (who at that point was working with major international artists and musicians signed to Warner) to bring the new single to life. And it came.
On November 17th, 2007, the Official CD with 10 songs was completed and mastered by producer Charles Amore.
Dan's New CD will be also selling online with where only Canada's best music is presented and where fellow artists on major labels such as Jann Arden, 54-40 and Avril Lavigne sell their album releases.
