A road soda is a slang term for any single-serving alcoholic beverage packaged and sold individually. Road soda culture emanates from the state of Vermont, where having one open container per car is legal, provided the driver is consuming it.
Common road sodas include 24 ounce "tallboy" cans of beer, 40 ounce bottles of malt liquor, and pint bottles of schnapps. The "official" road soda of Benson, Vermont is the half pint of root beer flavored schnapps, as stated in the town charter. The officiality of this road soda has been contested by several members of the Vermont legislature, and a plebiscite is scheduled for January 17, 2008 to determine the future of this historic ruling.
Although illegal, road soda culture flourishes in several other New England states, excluding New Hampshire, Upstate New York and the Provinces of Québec and New Brunswick. Road sodas displayed in Québec must adhere to Bill 101 constraints, and display French-language labels in a font larger than English-language labels. The import of a road soda from Vermont to the Dominion of Canada is considered drug trafficking, racketeering, and a violation of the Mann Act.
Local folk hero Pete Ducharme broke the record for most road sodas consumed while eluding the police with an indomitable showing of 29.

With increasing use of computers at homes in the United States, home computer networking is gaining wide popularity. Even those who have earlier taken the plunge are now resetting their networks for wireless.
There are numerous advantages of using a home networking system. It allows easy and fast file sharing between computers. Users have the possibility to work on various applications such as multi-player online games. It also helps in sharing a printer and an internet connection.
Interestingly, home entertainment products like digital video recorders (DVRs) and video game consoles can now support the devices used to establish a home networking connection. Integrating these products into computer network can help the users to enjoy video sharing, online Internet gaming and other hi-tech-features.
Home computer networking can be built using either wired or wireless technology. The most preferred is Wired Ethernet but WiFi wireless technologies are raising fast. Both wired and wireless has a number of advantages over the others which represent possible prospects for home and other local area network.
On the basis of efficiency, wired LANs perform better as compared to traditional Ethernet connections. However, firewalls are the basic security consideration to install any wired LAN. Users can also opt for broadband routers as they offer an effective firewall capability built into the device, configurable through its own software. Wireless LAN is another mode to install a home networking system.
Wireless networks are generally configured by default to allow access to any computer trying to connect, thereby creating a risk to security. This may cause your network to fall a prey to an evil hacker. Thus, the users are required to choose the mode of their network meticulously.

Unreal Tournament 3 is primarily an online multiplayer game. Consequently, the game benefits from having an extensive online community. The UT3 community manifests itself in the form of discussion forums, Internet Relay Chat (IRC) channels, and voice-over-IP servers, many of which are interrelated and associated with actual UT3 gaming servers. Several websites and discussion forums also serve as communities for custom map and game mod designers. Although most activity occurs on public servers, several people also choose to play in clan matches and pickup game matches.
Clans and Clan Matches
A clan is an organized team of players that plays scheduled matches against other clans. Clans are often members of organized leagues that take the form of ladders where clans attempt to climb to the top of their ladders by challenging clans above them while defending against challenges from clans on lower rungs.
Pickup Game (PUG) Matches
A PUG match is a spontaneously organized clan match-style game with teams composed of random players and not formal rosters. PUG matches are organized in Internet Relay Chat (IRC) channels where players sign up to play in the next match. When enough people have signed up, two of the players become team captains and draft the other players for their teams, often in a 1-2-2-1 order for 4-on-4 Team Deathmatch and in a 1-2-2-2-1 order for 5-on-5 Capture the Flag, with the first captain choosing the first player and the second captain picking the next two players, etc. The players then join a voice communications server, such as a Teamspeak or a Ventrillo server, and then they join a password-protected PUG match server where they play a best of three maps match. Like a regular clan match, players often have assigned positions and try to use teamwork. For example, common CTF positions are flag defense, offense, middle, and front door defense. PUG matches can be found at:
