Chümoukedima Football Stadium is a football stadium located at the Police Complex in Chümoukedima, Nagaland, India. Inaugurated on 28 January 2025 by Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and All India Football Federation (AIFF) president Kalyan Chaubey, the stadium is the home ground of Nagaland United and has served as one of the two principal venues, alongside the Indira Gandhi Stadium in Kohima, of the Nagaland Super League (NSL).

History

The stadium's inauguration on 28 January 2025 coincided with the launch of the inaugural edition of the Nagaland Super League, a seven-team state football competition organised by the Nagaland Olympic Association in collaboration with the Nagaland Football Association and the state government. The date was deliberately chosen by Chief Minister Rio to mark the birth anniversary of Dr T. Ao, the Naga footballer who captained independent India's team at the 1948 London Olympics.

At the inauguration ceremony, AIFF president Kalyan Chaubey also launched FIFA's "Football for Schools" initiative in Nagaland, handing over the first of more than 2,000 footballs earmarked for distribution to schools across the state's districts. Secretary General of the Nagaland Olympic Association and Athletics Federation of India vice-president Abu Metha stated that the league would comprise 45 matches contested by seven teams, drawing more than 300 players from across Nagaland's districts and beyond.

The opening match of the Nagaland Super League, played at the stadium on the evening of its inauguration, was contested between Barak Football Club and Nagaland United.
